I think most of his out takes are staged surely no human can be that damn clumsy!

I fish out of a Alumacraft Navigator with a Yamaha 90 four stroke. My home lake is Lake Scugog where I have a trailer at Goreskis and I am there every weekend from May to October. I like to hook up the boat a few times a year and head up to Simcoe and chase smallies and I made myself a promise this year to get out more and try some different waters we`ll see how that goes given the predicted price of gas.

I still see a few of those around north of the mullet line!

I think a show should teach the experts could do a much better job of explaining the why`s, where`s and how too, unfortunately there is very little of that going on. I recently watched an episode of a locally produced show they were doing a show on Lake Simcoe and of course the boys were having fun with the smallies but it was almost painful to watch how the camera man did everything he could do to keep from showing any background the only time you saw any background was when the host`s were in open water with no background showing. Most of the locally produced shows won`t even tell you what body of water they are fishing on unless of course they are being put up for free. Another thing I don`t care for is watching the host fish at some 1000 dollar a night fly-in place I could care less. I would much rather see our hero`s do shows on lakes where the average Joe actually can fish. If I had to pick a favorite it would be Al Linder`s Fishing Edge and Bob Izumi`s Real Fishing and Fish`n Canada before the format change.

I drove a Chevy Astro for a few years back in the early 90's and while I had very few problems with the vehicle it was like driving a cardboard box, very unstable in a crosswind and virtually no traction. Can be a scary vehicle to drive in the winter.

Congrats on your 25 year milestone. I have 31 years in the book with my company and for my 25th I recieved a great gold watch and a marvelous dinner and for my 30th they bought me a trolling motor which was kind of cool.

You`ll get over it, don`t let it ruin your life!

I just got back from my annual Bass Pro Spring shopping spree and I actually spent less than I normally do. To my surprise that had a lot of Shimano gear on sale, I went specifically to purchase a Cumara rod and then I noticed they had Crucial`s on sale so I picked up a nice dropshot rod for 50 bucks off. The Crucial was 139 and the Cumara was 269. I just could not justify spending 130 more for the Cumara. Also picked up some tubes at 4 bags for 10 bucks, some x-raps,gulp minnows, assorted hooks etc. at pretty good prices.

Hey Montreal owes you nothing true fans hold tough through thick and thin. I have been a Habs fan for almost 50 years and I have seen a lot of good hockey over the years including 14 Stanley Cups. Interesting that one of your favs is Kasparitis a dirty cheap shot artist who when challenged would turtle.

You don`t get much snow in Beverlee... hills that is do ya?

A waste of rations! LOL MTL. 6 BUF.2 Plekanec 3 goals and as a bonus Latendresse punched out one of your big strong western canada boys! Big game tomorrow Hab fans against the devils first place on the line!

You think Hossa is a Swede? LOL

The no trade clause is in the GM`s hands they are the ones that agree if the GM`s say no then there are no no trade clauses. Can you imagine Darcy Tucker with a no trade clause.

I will not ask for permission nor will I beg forgiveness you see in the last 4 months my wife has been to Florida(10 days) and Jamaica(7 days) and this summer she going to England for 17 days you add all that up and it`s a heck of a lot more than I will spend on fishing stuff I don`t really need.

You know Holdfast you really should be a Leaf fan then you would have something to complain about without sounding silly. Gainey tried to sign Souray last year but he turned the offer down but if you knew anything at all about the Habs you would know that, by the way how is that signing working out for the Oilers??? Perhaps you would be happy if Gainey signed the Hanson brothers?
-
What do you mean when you say look at what Montreal picks up with their drafts, you obviously have no clue as to what you are talking about!( no surprise here) Lets look at the number one picks of the last few years since management got their act together. 2001- Mike Komisarek 2002- Chris Higgins 2003- Andre Kosteatsyn 2004- Kyle Chipchura 2005-Carey Price All but one is playing in the NHL and making major contributions. Now add to that the following players from the 5 drafts that are playing with the big club, Thomas Plekanec Maxim Lapierre Ryan O`Byrne Jaroslav Halak Mikhail Grabovsky Mark Streit Guillaume Latendresse Sergi Kostistyn Thats 12 players on the big club in those 5 drafts IMHO thats pretty damn good. Now come back and tell me their no good because they are European or they played in Quebec!

We shall see! The gave up a lot for Hossa, it will be interesting to see how the Penguins plan on fitting all these star players into the salary cap in a year or two. I am glad Gainey did not give up the farm for Hossa apparently Waddell was asking for Higgins,A.Kostisyn,Latendresse and a first rounder which is ridiculous. Personally I was a little shocked with the Huet deal but Price is Gaineys boy. You will recall at the start of the season Carboneau was planning on sending Price to Hamilton and Gainey but the brakes on that. So the pressure is now on Price he has done it at the World Jr. and the AHL level lets see if he can do it at the NHL level.

No you don`t sound like a racist in the least.

I wish my 90 Yammy 4 stroke got as good economy as my V8 truck.

For the cup you cheer for the leafs, must be awful quiet around your place the last couple of years...well 40 years! Sorry couldn`t resist. Go Habs
-
Well like I said before you obviously have a bias against europeans and apparently small players as well. Lets see what plays out in the next week.
-
We are all aware of your bias against european players especially Koivu and I would agree that the habs need to add some grit and I believe I said that they need a couple of pieces, that being said the habs are getting closer to being serious contenders lets see what happens in the next few games.
-
There are 2 teams in the league that have more points than the habs and the habs have games in hand on both these teams. The habs are third in the league in the goals for category. As much as I know the leaf fans out there don`t want to hear this but who cares I think the habs are 2 players away from being serious cup contenders and by all accounts Gainey is shopping. Last nights game was super it brought back memories of the old fire wagon hockey that I loved to watch back in the 70`s> You gotta love the way Kovalev is playing right now last night he was great and his line as a whole has to be one of the hottest lines in the league.

I think the officer needs a anger management class. Guys like that have no business being on the street dealing with the public.
