My Son has an i phone and he downloaded the app and we used it on Balsam Lake last year what I noticed is the GPS function would not work while the boat was going, other than that it was okay given the price. I wish there was something similar for Blackberry.

I don`t know why Shimano USA decided not to do the reel trade in this year but I am sure Shimano world wide does their fair share for charities. I for one like having guys like JP and DM around here they are good for OFC, JP was particularly helpful a little while back when I was looking at a certain rod he took the time to answer the PM I sent him and the advice was helpful. Listen fishing and fishing products are big business and companies spend big bucks promoting their products and part of that is sponsoring walking and talking billboards like J.P. DeRose and Dave Mercer does it get a cheesy sometimes sure it does but in my opinion they are good for the sport and good for OFC.

I know you die hard Toyota guys wish it would but there is obviously more here than meets the eye. The news is revelant and it will be interesting to see what come`s out when Congress start hammering away at Toyota`s exec`s this week. The CNBC news report I saw last night does not paint a pretty picture for Toyota. Stay tuned!!

Nothing wrong with BPS brand rods like the Extreme or the Bionic blade they offer great value especially when they are on sale, the only thing they really don`t offer is the sexy brand image that so many people like these days.

Well you seem to have all the high end rods covered. I recently bought a Revo SX it just felt better in my hand than the Curado, too be honest the Curado felt cheap. I am partial to Shimano rods because they perform well and are well made, pair your new reel up with a Compre or a Crucial and you will have a fine combo. I don`t need hellium rods or carrot rods, I like to stick with what I know.
