I can`t believe what the French girl did basically skied for 10 feet turned right and rolled over. After a few skiers had some difficulty for the most part the rest of the field looked like they were scared to death to go down the hill and tried to get down the hill slow and safe, not exactly world class performances. One girl Canadian did not even start. Props to the winner she put one hell of a gutsy run in, takes guts to win gold.

Ya a little too funny!! Can you say staged.

I really can`t see this contraption going anywhere, if the support piece is on the inside the boat I think it would block access to the rod lockers on the side. I don`t know about you guys but I sure don`t need another trip hazard in my boat plus you have store it.

LOL did Toyota decide to save all their recalls for the same time? Now a pick up! What 09/10 models have not been recalled yet.

Timely report Joe the wife just booked a week at the Barcelo Langosta in CR today and I just might take a rod down with me. Tell me do you know if you need a license to fish the shore?

I guess one feels better with a little foreplay before they get screwd.

Looks like MBF has got the Oshawa posse wound up, watch out for a convoy 1993 Honda Civics coming to Shelburne to straighten out this pathetic old man.

Of course its necessary. It`s necessary to keep corporate revenue streams strong, just like all the new and improved lures, hooks, sinkers etc.etc. we get baited into buying every year. You mark my words one day soon there will be a company that will start marketing eco friendly green fishing products.

Hang in there it will get better. Before you know it they`ll be all grown up and moved out before the age of 30 if your lucky, and then they will only call you when they want to borrow money, borrow the boat, borrow the tow vehicle,co-sign a loan, pay for a wedding, help with a downpayment for the first house, baby sit.

I have several Compre`s and have not had one problem.
-
These guys are serious Bill they weigh 13" perch!LOL

Your last couple of post are quite entertaining! I hate to tell you young fella but most people here are not hanging on your everyword and waiting for you and Mike to throw us a bone!!!
-
The last 3 Compre`s I purchased were under 100 dollars.

I doubt if the membership here would be all that interested in the handful of spots I fish each year. I had a trailer on Scugog for a few years and got to know the lake fairly well and on a few ocassions I recieved pm`s asking for some help with the lake and I never refused to help a fellow angler. I find blurrred backgrounds ridiculous and when someone who does it that has probably not had to pay for a fishing license yet doubly so. And stop banging your head against the wall it`s okay for people to disagree.

You can`t go wrong with a Compre!
-
I am with you on this one Dirk. I find blurring backgrounds to be ridiculous and as a general rule won`t even bother to look at the pictures if they have been ruined, seems to me that when people do this it is more about looking for praise and a pat on the back. I am sure people have been catching fish out of that lake long before you were born young fella and will continue to do so. I would hazard a guess that you probably did not find this lake on your own more than likely someone told you about it and more than likely that someone who told you was told by someone else and so on. Mike I am sure your a nice young man but I find it a little curious that someone who asks a gazzilion questions on this form would bother to do that. I might invite you out Bass fishing next year if you don`t mind wearing a blindfold.LOL

Rest in peace Phil Harris. Redbull and Cigs and no sleep=early grave.

I have mixed feelings about Berkely, I like Gulp but only have ever bought the small packages love Trilene lines but the Vanish product are the worst I have ever used. I have to agree with the comments on the Gulp bait bucket there obviously is a problem with leaking and just as obvious Berkely does seem to care. The Berkely solution is ask customers to buy another container to replace the defective one. There are aftermarket products that will work better and prevent the Gulp mess it`s unfortunate that Berkley is reallying on the customers initiative to solve the problem instead of their own.

Just kidding, I tend to be overly cautious when dealing with lakes like Simcoe seen it blow up really quick too many times. Personally I would not like to be on Simcoe in 3-4 waves in a small skinny boat that would scare me but to each his own.

Here`s my 2 cents, If it were me I would not buy a 14 footer unless resricted by budget or tow vehicle. I started with a 14 footer and it was good on small lakes and calm water but it was not very confortable when it was choppy, nothing worse than wanting to go out fishing and not being able to because of the weather. I have no direct experience with Legend boats I do have 2 family members that own Legends and they seem pleased with them. The thing that I would be concerned about in their entry level boats is the width, even though they call it a wide body the beam is only 68" that`s pretty skinny. I don`t know what kind of water you plan on fishing but with a skinny boat you will have to pick your spots and keep an eye on the weather. Take a look and see what is available at the show and maybe hang on to your cash and save a little longer it will likely open up the opportunity for a better safer boat that you will enjoy longer and may help you avoid the 2 footitce that so many boat owner have had. Good luck in your search.
