  1. I tied to snug the tire down with a rope. Still too much leakage at rim. I think I'll try at a gas station with more pressure Why don't they have a tube? Money saver?
  2. Brought out the wheelbarrow. No air in tire. I doubt there is a hole. Says tubeless on the side. Hooked up a DC pump Sides are too loose on the rim and air escaping. How can I inflate this thing? No gas station around here at the cottage.
  3. Now you need a Grizzly.
  4. Just checked in manual. Min 502 marine cranking amps Min 124 amp hours Will it work well ?
  5. Just came from Costco Took a picture of their marine battery but don't know how to post a photo Said Starting/Deep Cycle Marine RV 27DC Figment code 14 845 Marine Cranking Amps 120 amp hours Forgot to note price Anybody know if this would work for a 115 Yammy 4str?
  6. Can I send you my wife?
  7. Scugog looks wide open driving by. Saw a boat flying across from Port. Upper Buckhorn open as far as the eye can see from Gannon Narrows. South Pigeon partly open. North Pigeon still locked up but ice is soft Won't be long now with the warm forecast
  8. Looks like we might be too late to invest. Body cam stocks have shot up during the last year. One of them by 456%. Darn.
  9. There's new video from California were the cops beat the snot out of a submitting captured crook. I don't want to develop a camera. Just want to invest in a company who's sales will likely jump.
  10. Thinking of an investment opportunity. Looks like cops will all be wearing body cameras in the future. Anybody know who is the leading manufacturer of these things?
  11. Not sure they are meant for trolling deeper water especially since there are multi level diving Rapalas that are designed to target specific depths. But maybe the tighter wobble is preferred over the big wobble of diving cranks. I was thinking more of a casting strategy where I don't have to cast way beyond the spot to drag a diving crank down to depth. A countdown will go to any depth even deep divers wouldn't reach casting.
  12. Thinking I'm going to give these a try. Saw a seminar at the fishing show. He said a real slow presentation after counting down to near the bottom. Should be a winner for eyes on deep weed edges and humps. Anybody use these on the Kawarthas? I ft drop per second. Mono or braid make a difference? Colour and size?
  13. Stupid low. Pigeon is way low too. They have allowed for huge spring runoff that is not going to happen this year. How will this affect the walleye spawn?
  14. Conventional wisdom is catch the most skis in June. But bigger ones in the fall. Tough to beat the Kawarthas.
  15. Had a look at the cottage today. Gannon Narrows open 1 km either side of bridge. Pigeon is 2-3 ft lower than average in summer. Not a lot of snow around. Is there much snow left in Haliburton? Slow melt this year. Likely no flooding.
  16. Just got back from this long anticipated spring show It's HUGE!! Packed and parking is scarce. You can pick from dozens of dock companies. Lots of builders and suppliers. Boats. Seadoos. ATVs. But ya can't buy a Husky Jerk or even a jig ? What gives?
  17. Porkpie, caught a 52 incher and several in the high 40s in the Bog. Not real heavy though.
  18. There's nothing like casting an expensive lure, getting a sudden birds nest and having the line snap. Then come the f-bombs as you see your lure sink ?
  19. I cottage and of coarse fish North Pigeon Lake. Last year weeds were way down compared to the the previous years. Late spring. Fishing was pretty good. Likely be the same kinda year this year. Itchin to start. ?
  20. Lots to eat compared to Haliburton and Muskoka lakes.
  21. You live near an awesome fishery in the Ottawa River. Need nautical charts. Either paper or GPS. Find an experience friend to go out with initially or use a guide and pick his brain.
  22. Crazy statistic on Algonquin Park You can camp year round. Get this. The least camping month, year round happens in JUNE!!!
  23. Yes also in Stouffville
  24. Stick baits and cranks certainly work but I hate when the back trebles hookem in the sides and eyes when they jump. Nothin like a single hook.
  25. Hey Glen. What do you mean by backing down? Peter
