  1. there's Bass in Fall? i thought only Musky and Walleye
  2. Good job! Both the skis and Bass are beauties. Nice pics too. Did you use some kind of filter on them?
  3. Didnt happen if no pics. lol JK. what did you catch the ski on? i caught a decent one there a few weeks ago, on a hellhound
  4. almost makes me want to get a Shimano reel i've just never had any problems with my Quantum reels, so no need i guess. Although i've had my eye on that new Calcutta D
  5. no clue on the eyes. will you be targeting musky at all?
  6. pick a kawartha lake. Pigeon, scugog, buckhorns, chemong, cameron.
  7. these are the gloves i use. (might not be warm enough for winter, but great for fall) they are neoprene BPS gloves, and are fairly cheap you can pull back the index finger and thumb to tie knots, etc. without having to remove the gloves also works for baitcasting, just pull the thumb back. FYI, it says its waterproof....It is NOT but stilll good for the money
  8. i would never want to take the chance to miss out on a potential trophy fish or PB. doesnt make sense to "play" with the fish after its hooked. ive seen so many fish lost that way
  9. not familiar with them. a quick google search pulled up this Rapala Andros i've purchased a Rapala reel before on sale at the sportsmen show. cheap quality, i returned it the next day.
  10. Came across this video of some rookie musky anglers on youtube. fishing with no net, luckily the fish came off. FYI, some swearing on the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3iRZP_SdUVw the commentary is hilarious, yet rediculous at the same time
  11. No, but all the guys on a musky forum get their power handles from there. So pretty reputable company.

  13. thats a sweet colour. ill take it if you dont want it
  14. was smashing them this weekend on dropshotted wacky rigged senkos. 4 & 5" im no drop shot expert though...this is just what worked for me. Anybody use a baitcast setup? im more comfortable with a baitcaster, not sure if it is ideal though for this technique
  15. might find some info on here http://www.ncangler.com/forums/forum.php
  16. How long is this post going to go on? It is all subjective. We all agree on NOT keeping illegal fish, and everybody has their own opinion on what size LEGAL fish they prefer to keep. So let it be. Why force your opinion on on someone else? Because that's all it is "an Opinion"
  17. x2 purchase the Crown Royal black for a nice sharp black pouch
  18. i dont like mono as a leader. i find flouro stronger and more sensitive, and less visible under the water (to me at least lol) i use seaguar, and i buy the leader material, not the fluoro line. Its more abrasion resistant
