  1. Likely, buddy who owns the property would call the cops, the cops would come, tell you you're doing nothing illegal, but ask you to leave anyway.
  2. Giant spinnerbaits my friend. 1.5 - 3 oz. Deep weeds. Ah yea. Wish i was going with ya.
  3. Oops double post. How ironic.
  4. 2.8 - 3.2 range depending on current direction
  5. AND, Don't forget to Use the search function. Lots of posts in the past about G-Pool
  6. Walleyes come in, anywhere any river with a decent current spews, for at least a couple of hours every night. Cast and reel jerkbaits or shallow crankbaits off most Lake Erie piers at night, and you are likely to eventually hook one. I've caught them in some unexpectedly shallow areas doing this in the past. Hope that (hint) helps.
  7. Oh and booths / old cut i find the busiest on the bay.
  8. Tp, booths, akers, sandboy, marina shores, old cut, the provincial park.. All decent ramps. Port rowan slightly trickier, but also generally a good ramp. I launch based on the area i plan to fish. Bring 20 bucks as that is the going rate for most ramps on the bay nowadays.
  9. Was at the reservoir tonight. Rented a canoe for 2 hours and with minimal dropshot effort landed a half dozen bass and some small crappies. Should be a great day for all again but be prepared to fish slow!
  10. Let's knock cancer out of the park this year shall we? Look out DC fishies!
  11. I have had good days catching perch in and around pier area in the past. It's hit & miss though.
  12. Buy a mepps #5 musky killer with red fur. Your best bet at shore pike or musky anywhere shallow. Buy a few. Keep casting them. If pike have been caught and released by others you can eventually annoy them into striking. Keep that bait on the line, and crank it fast.
  13. Now your quest upgrades to looking for a GIANT pike! Good job !
  14. I crank exclusively with a spinning rod. A 7' medium action rod and 8lb mono if you can get away with it, will fire just about every bait you got as far as you wanna throw it. I like Spro cranks and Cordell Big O's.
  15. There are other places to catch musky..
  16. I like a white or yellow grub with a big clothespin spinner attached. Great fish locator, catches fish of all sizes/species anyday of the week. Rip it quick, even the walleyes like it fast most days.
  17. Killer spring as always, spent 90% of it chasing river giants, with the odd off day chasing trout, or panfish. Another nice day today, bring on the river smallies!
  18. Amazing smallie fishery. I'd rather fish smallies there than on Erie.
  19. Double tail grub on a heavy spinnerbait bulks it up, great in the fall trolling 1.5 to 3 oz baits
  20. Fished the grand my last couple times out, and it's sweet little side rivers & back eddies between Cambridge and Brantford. In 2 trips, caught 1 walleye, a billion smallmouth bass from 0.01 to 3lbs, 50 rock bass of all sizes, saw 2 pike caught by a guy drifting live sucker minnows, saw a rather large brown trout ignore every lure I own, and saw some rather large carp roaming. Every fishable opening I could walk or crawl into was productive. Good times!
  21. I have a technique called 'orbing'. Hook on a red/white spherical bobber and pop it. Probably equally as effective - and silly looking.
  22. Maitland, dover, ryerse, burwell.. All have perch nearby this time of year.
  23. Thanks for the info, much appreciated. Hoping to get down & cast some hardbaits on Tuesday. Would be nice to luck into a pike! And I'm doing well, haha. Nothings changed, just fishing every chance I get & working too much.
  24. Is it castable from shore? Just wondering if anyone has any info. Thnx
  25. Well, perhaps you should just be glad that it's not your money they're playing with, or really any of your business what they do with their stuff.
