Well I got a new toy today, should help the action angling videos turn out a lot better. Got me a new Samsung digital camcorder. So far I'm lovin' it! Best part is because it was the display model I got a great deal on it. Always use a sidearm hookset with the jerkbaits. The upward jerk can often pull the trebles out. A sweeping sideways hookset will keep them hooked.

Yeah, trout opener is also only one day. I dont even like trout that much but I sure as heck wont miss opener.

Well I can tell ya after the last 3 days of ice fishing for me I'd be starving to death.

Frabill makes good ice fishing buckets that you can soup up with rod holders, padded seats, etc. They are insulated and keep bait nice & fresh all day in both winter and summer.

Last Sat in April is also trout opener isnt it? Seems like you should maybe wait a week after.

The purpose of the pic was to show all of the peanut shells all over the "floor" we had been munching on all day.. on my forum that is kind of our 'inside joke' cuz we always have a bag of peanuts for good luck. I think we need to find a different good luck charm though ... we've used up all the lucky peanuts.
