Well we headed to a little different area yesterday in search of perch. All week we have been releasing the panfish so we decided to scrape up a nice meal. GB, Sleded and I got 'em down with live minnows Sleded had netted in the morning. The lines werent in very long before we got into fish. I think by the end we had maybe 12 true keepers, and a bunch that would normally be too small to keep however they had swallowed the hook. Lots of action anyway and a ton of fun. Now for pics: Sleded decided to use the truck as an ice hut, lol Jumbo on! Sleded caught a largemouth yesterday on his pickerel rig. Full of eggs.

Well GB came out today and we went back to the panfish zone.. not too much happening, would have helped if we had real bait, lol. Eventually we figured out that bread balls worked pretty well for bluegill. Only one keeper perch caught all day but quite a few bluegills to keep us occupied. No pike however.

Yes I can attest that Nauti is just as crazy in real life as online.. perhaps more so!

Oh yeah for the record I play guitar.. I taught myself about 3 years ago.. I'm not great at it but always learning. It's almost as addictive as fishing... almost. I can sing too, well... sorta.

You dont truly know anybody until you've actually fished with them. I always make it a rule not to judge a book by its cover. I guess thats just me though.

Just so ya all know, the Grand is closed for trout now til April. I'm pretty sure she was fishing for carp/suckers, or whatever else would bite. Great pics Nauti, too bad about the skunk but I can relate!
