I'd have to agree, growing up in the 50's /early 60's , nobody heard of a peanut allergy or any of the numerous food allergies/lactose/gluten intolerant or kids just didn't make it to school age cause they died , poisoned by a PBandJ and a glass of homo milk , standard lunch fare in those days. Society seems to be become hyper sensitive to a lot of things in the past 50 years.

Its a high resolution .pdf, save it and you can expand it for better visibility. Microwaves are radio waves, your microwave oven emits radio waves very close to your 2.4 Ghz wifi, actually our microwave would knock my wife's old laptop off the network, I won't repeat what she said when that happened ? edit: Don't worry be happy https://www.qsl.net/z33t/emb_stetni_ili_ne_eng.html?fbclid=IwAR3doDgCJVyTG9AV8GXa4mW_qYEkZghmSUEVrHZwX60xeOaj-ZQVmMJy630

For any radio geeks this is how the frequency spectrum is chopped up in Canada, the light blue is our AM/FM and TV channels if any listens to O.T.A. transmissions anymore? https://www.ic.gc.ca/eic/site/smt-gst.nsf/vwapj/2018_Canadian_Radio_Spectrum_Chart.PDF/$FILE/2018_Canadian_Radio_Spectrum_Chart.PDF

so I see ?

I've been into shortwave radio and uhf/vhf scanners all my life, you would not believe how the noise from some of this stuff has increased in those 50 years , the static level between stations is horrendous anymore, not just stuff that is supposed to radiate a signal but spurious emissions from poorly regulated power supplies like your cell phone or laptop charger. Anyone experienced a microwave knocking something off a wifi network or a cordless phone, they are both use a frequency of about 2.4 Ghz and this 5G will operate around 6Ghz ?

A great way to replace Gas BBQ burner tents
dave524 replied to Old Ironmaker's topic in General Discussion
You should be OK as long as they are not galvanized, seriously at our age and years in the steel industry I think we would be immune by now. Lowes seemed to have the cheapest one size fits all diffuser tent last time I looked , I need 3 https://www.lowes.ca/bbq-grill-replacement-parts/char-broil-adjustable-porcelain-coated-steel-heat-tent_g2664137.html -
Tail gate cooking with an Hibachi, haven't seen one of those in years but they were awesome. And yes Walmart does make good BBQ"s ?

I wouldn't sweat it in the spring after opener for drop backs, all too often I've stepped into a run that guys are flogging with roe and hit a fish on the first drift or two using a nose hooked dewey that it has become my preferred bait at that time of year. You could also try the above mentioned place , the one time I got it there it was top notch http://www.centerpinangling.com/spawn-products.html

Grew up with natural gas and have had gas all but 7 years of my 69 years as an adult , when I lived in an apartment I had an electric and hated it, , go with the propane .

You sure wouldn't drive around with expired plates in those years, no names mentioned ?, they also all expired on the same day, not spread out throughout the year on birth months.
-
Used to get new plates every year, think the sticker thing started about the mid 70's, had a 76 VW Rabbit when it started. I understand we are dropping the front plate too, only rear plates now.

Yes , a very enlightening article. I bet anyone who had Lyme would have gladly risked the side effects if it would have saved them that experience.
-
Looks like it was approved at one time for humans and then recalled after side effects surfaced https://www.vox.com/science-and-health/2018/5/7/17314716/lyme-disease-vaccine-history-effectiveness
-
It's crazy, my dogs get a shot to prevent Lyme but it is not approved for humans.

We just did our girls' first monthly doses for the summer , 2 nights ago.

They should have waited, if the Leafs go down in the first round I bet Babcock would be available.
-
Thanks guys, I don't feel so old now ?

Looks like a Crestliner Saber.

My wife is from Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda, still got inlaws there, looks like Boca Grande or Sanibel causeway, unfortunately , at my age that would probably kill me.
-
I'm trying to figure how they could be any worse than Common Carp and there is a kazillion of them in Hamilton Harbour already.
-
Walked the yard on skunk patrol before letting the dogs out , shone the flashlight down at a bare spot and there was dew worms/nightcrawlers out at 5:45 AM, temp was 4.5 C, obviously didn't freeze last night. update: 3-29 10PM , tons of them out tonite.
-
Got it, long and slender is a jerkbait and short and fat is an alphabet bait, or do they still use that label today ?
-
there's his problem, a hole in his glove ?
-
30 years ago if you said jerk bait, everyone figured you were casting Suick's etc for musky, just exactly what constitutes a jerk bait today ? or crankbaits or swim baits for that matter. Hell, we fished dropshot rigs 50 years ago before they came up with the name. Sorry, just getting cynical in my old age, but it does seem everything needs a label nowadays.

Plant them in the garden along with the grass carp.
