I've heard the difference in musky strains determines spawning habitat... So as long as the musky and pike aren't using the same areas... The musky fry aren't eaten... From what I've seen musky on the st.lawrence spawn in bays... Mostly And the pike go up creeks and rivers... From what I've heard... There are pike and musky in the st.lawrence... Different areas have more or less of each... And in one area I know of... Pike are almost non existent... We used to catch a bunch every year... Now I can count on one hand how many I catch... Now I'm bableing on...

that always depends on how the fish are biting...lol

When you test drive it... Run it at high rpm/speed for a long time... Get it hot... This will help with backyard quick fixes... Also I own a 2000 honda 40hp tiller... Amazing motors... We have had a couple 50hp tillers growing up... Only issue we ever really had was with the starters... But we "over use" our boats...lol And that's only a couple hundred bucks... There are usualy quantity or quality... Up north... Usualy quantity... So when guys like limy post about bigger then average walleye... Good for him... I get walleye over 5lbs almost every time out... And small ones for me are 2lbs... So when someone like me posts about good numbers... Good for me... The biggest thing is YouTube... Those titles are misleading... At least on the forum you can compare to the posters previous posts

We have never fogged our motors... They always start fine in the spring... But keep in mind... I run my boat into December... And it's in the water in late march...

I've only ever run stabilizer and changed the oil... Never had much of a problem...

Just buy it and trade somebody for a smaller motor... Shouldn't be hard to find a trade... Most guys are looking for a bigger motor...

I have trout beads... As well as many other artificials... Jigs...flies...pink worms... But I've been told some days... Nothing beats roe... I ordered some chinook roe from the store MJL suggested...
