Yes if the parent/guardian wants to participant with the kids they need a licence. I think the licence should be waved. You would still need to have a licence if you wanted fish other times, and would remove a large barrier to get more kids participating.

Take a weak solution of javex and water and spray your tires.

I understand your beef. But it's still kids out fishing out harvesting dinner. I don't understand why a parent aunt,uncle ,single mom, single dad should need a licence to take there kids fishing.

As long as kids get fishing I see no abuse. Unless they just don't want to.

I think if you have kids with you fishing should be free.

I own both Cableas Guide Wear and the 100mph BPS. Guide Wear hood parachutes and strangles you in a Bassboat. It has a single chunky zipper not rain proof and a single flap with very short strips of Velcro. Definitely not extreme weather. BPS 100 hood still parachutes a little but they have large Velcro flap that goes over your mouth from the hood making it minimal. Inside water proof zipper a flap and outside water proof zipper. All pockets are water proof zippers and arm cuffs neoprene. BPS 100 is by far the best.

I wasn't clear in I fish all those lakes and wouldn't mine donating the carcase. The whole fish for a little dna sample just seems to much.

I ate 5-6 pike from Balsam this spring. They were good, took about 10 minutes on ytube to fillet. So is the carcase enough for dna.

My day in Port Hope. Stop at the Independent for gas.$74 I put the receipt with about 15 others so 15*75= $1125. Stopped at PH Convience for lottery ticket. Like this place easy access and you can see everything the owner does. Went fishing for 3 hrs. Then decided to stop at farmers market $14. I usually go to the one on Hwy 28 just before Dale rd. They only sell what the grow. I like that. Stopped at Gilmers for a 6.5 inch 5/8 bolt. Gilmers is a great hardware store in recent memory I purchased a railing for my parents $1000. Get this I ordered hinges for my kitchen cupboards the guy at service wasn't sure if they were the same so he order 1 and I picked in a couple days later. Wouldn' let me pay for it, took it check it out and order 35 more. Another $150. I've bought paint and lots of other stuff. Stopped at Tim's. Safe to say no fishing in Port Hope I spend my money some were else.

This mayor really needs to learn how to recognize anglers when they don't have a fishing rod in his/her hand. Then walk into Jim's pizza on Tuesday night mid summer. See 2 server waiting tables and another taking take out orders 3-4 cooks. As angler I look around see all the tan lines all the hats and what's printed on the hats. Have a look at the shirts and realizes without salmon 10 people lose there jobs and this joint likely closes. I had a conversation with a really dedicated guy works on all kinds of fish related stuff tell me Port Hope gets nothing. Like 20 minutes earlier I seen a Quebec licenced boat put close to $300 in his boat and over $200 diesel in his truck. And I'm sitting behind him from Bowmanville for my $100.

Just one small point. The original funding was from Ontario Heritage Fund. MNR got the money and the work. I did the original temp profile for Wilmot, Oshawa,Bowmanville Creeks. Only Wilmot was close to acceptable and only if they got to the upper reaches. Other people did the other creeks. On the east coast rivers you are not aloud to use tinsel on your fly's, why! Yes the whole Atlantic program should be scrapped. I would really like a list of stream re hab projects complete for this Program.

Lot's of browns caught off piers. Both Toronto Star and Oshawa This week Brown category's were won on Whitby and Oshawa pier.

I was part of the original group that went to Queens Park for meeting MNR Newman. We asked for salmon stocking. Must have been waiting for us because he jump right on the Atlantic program and gave us brown trout stocking east of Rouge. They put a group of MNR bio's and a rep from each club and toured eastern states and Provinces. One guy that went was a freak for picking up a copy of every study done. I'm the only one that read all the reports. And it was very clear these are the stupidest fish known to man. Any flashy silver do dad will clear out any hole. And they are stocking into a major boat fisher that troll flashy spoons. And another every clear point was they imprint to the river and to the hole that they were born in. And the MNR are still dumping them out of tankers by the thousands. They should be stocking individual holes with 10-15 smolts. That should be a make work project MNR would jump right on.

That's what great tournament fishing is about. Get your strategy work the details, make adjustments and make it look like luck. Nice job.

Great bass fishing. In the short term they will get a little hard to catch with the cold nights. Takes a couple weeks for them to get winter coat on and then it's game on. Spinnerbaits,buzzbaits,poppers,cranks and anything else. And what colour of black bucktail jig are you using for those walleye.
