  1. Thanks for the report. "1625 Classic" That is a nice boat.
  2. If you are just taking the skeg off then you shouldnt have to undo the shifter linkage. Are all bolts on the skeg out??
  3. I am not sure about that motor but. Does it have a small cover plate above the cavitation plate? On some motors you have to open this cover plate and undo the shifter linkage.
  4. Stan you might be able to use deck screws. I have used them in my boat. Homedepot has marine vinyl but it aint cheap. It cost me about 500 for the wood floor and vinyl. 500 more for seats and pedestals.
  5. I bet any of that gear would be good if you dont get out much. If you only catch a few fish a year. A muskie guide thats on the water every day would know what the best of the best is. I just thought about the old reels and rods people used to use. Click Click Click your reeling in. How did they ever catch fish.
  6. I had to have another look. Thats my kind of fishing. I wonder if Greencoachdog has ever caught a salmon.
  7. He is also a member on OFC but he has not posted much. Get well soon Shane.
  8. Nice job on the boat. One thing i see when people fix up there boat is that everyone has a different idea of what they need.
  9. I like the look of that area. Catching a fish is a bonus. What are you trolling for in the last pic? The rod and reel look a little heavy for specs.
  10. Excellent. Thanks for the pics
  11. Thanks for doing the report Rob. Did you dry out your tackle?
  12. Yes Roy. What about stinger lines/hooks. Its rods per angler not lines per angler.
  13. Nice ones Splash.
  14. Thanks for the report and pics. That should get some people fired up and ready to go.
  15. Thanks for the heads up pikehunter. Who dosnt like billfish.
  16. Thanks for the report and pics. It is good to have you on this board.
  17. I use a towel. Lay one combo down fold then another fold and so on. This works good in the boat or car. You need a tube for a fly in though.

    Ouch!

    Drive on car topper.
  19. I think cabelas sells ones that go on the back of your seat. I would like a bimini but it would get in the way when not in use.
  20. I think the free shipping is only in the USA. I like Cabela's but i like LeBaron's better.
  21. I got the two bolt on rod holders from striper tackle (mail order). I hope they work for muskie. I like that idea bucktail. Now where can i find some pike that will bend my muskie rod?
  22. Ted my honda has rubber o rings on all the oil fill bolts. No washers. It calls for 10W30. Follow your manual. I am sure it will be fine with the 10w30 till your next change.
  23. Took along time to get this stuff. I also got some other rods, lures, fluoro leaders 130#-180# (too much to take pics of). Thanks to Wayne for the info on Striper Tackle.
  24. WTG Rich. Keep them coming.
  25. I cant see the fish.
