I would like to volunteer some time this year to do some fin clipping or anything else you guys need please keep us updated for opportunities to volunteer.
Love it, I head up your way almost every year down a dirt road of hwy 63. Heck we spent our honeymoon up there. Hopefully I hit that lottomax this weekend
I've only been out 4 times in my own boats on lake o ( whitby and west end) and they have buzzed me all 4 times never pulled alongside. I like Georgian bay policy. They pull up out of your spread and say show me your life jackets, and hold up your boaters card, have a nice day.
I was actually worried when I saw them this passed Sunday . I didn't have paddles with me like I'm supposed to. Like I'm gonna paddle a 22 ft boat 3 miles to shore.
I got no problem with police ( ask me ten years ago I would have given you a different answer). I've had some bad run ins like the ticket in a canoe for no buoyant throw rope. We both had life jackets on at the time. But getting stopped every damn day on the snowmobile sometimes 3 times a day really pissed me off. I can only imagine while fishing on lake o and having to pull lines every time.
The only place I know of is just outside Alliston. Sheldon's dairy. I believe there are only a few in ontairo allows to pasteurize and sell on site. It's one concession west of hwy 50. In between 20th and 25th sideroads The chocolate milk is crazy good. And they also make Iice cream. Not on the way for you though.
I lived in England as a kid, we had a terrier that picked a fight with a badger, pretty near got gutted,. Survived but was in rough shape, nasty beasts.
hmmm, 24 hour drive to Fla, leaving at midnight...... hope they still have the xmas lights out or you may end up a little wet....lets see some saltwater slime
Nice work, was out yesterday but more of a shakedown cruise and the fog was so bad you could hardly see 300 ft at times. Too chicken to run far from port.
Canadian tire sells a 12 ft x8 ft canvas tarp for 80 bucks. Not sure if it be big enough for your boat. It's what I used to bake a mooring cover...the sewing machine was not happy.
Scugog river 9 years old. Fishing with a red and white bobber and minnow. Monster musky ate my bobber.... Still haven't landed one. Had some beasts on fishing for walleye on the French.
Getting close. 2 new batteries, and a sonar today... All I really need to do is mount the brake controller in the truck. Hoping for a Sunday shakedown cruise.
