  2. Ok, so there's a HUGE difference in a motor powered auger, but, for someone like me who doesn't do much ice fishing, is it worth buying one. I personally say no... however, I noticed a cheaper cousin of the gas powered auger.. the hand auger! I was wondering if a hand powered auger worked as efficiently as a motor powered auger. Time consumption isn't really my problem, I just want an auger that doesn't cost lots of money, which could be spent on more important fishing equipment! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  13. This may seem stupid of me, but i dunno, like,, in one of your pictures, there is a heater, and its reasonable to keep one with you, because it must get freezing at times, but does that not begin to melt the ice within the hut? PM me if you can, that would be great...... P.s. .. i am sorry if this post is considered an "old" post.. but i don't think it is so yea, don't freak out at me

  17. BOTH!!!!! I personally think that doe taste better, i dunno why, but it has less of a gamey taste, however, both are good... i think the real question should be,, young deer or old deer, the younger the deer, the more tender it is, the older the deer gets, the tougher the meat, though, the best and tastiest solution to tough meat is to sauté it in wine for a day. Trust me, it taste good. If you have the stew meat, then... well its very self explanatory, any kind of deer meat in a stew taste good! Hope that helps ya out!
  18. What baits are best when fishing for bass in a creek?

  21. Hey Rob, I can give you a few suggestions. 1. Instead of keeping the minnows in a live well, you should just hang them on the side of the boat, ( in a container obviously) but what container to use??.. Well, if you wanted, you could just get any kind of large tupperware contanier and poke holes at the top. and on the side of the container, make a hole and tie a rope through it. 2. If you wanted to keep a live well in your boat, you can get a large plastic tank or bucket, one that you would essentially use to store kids toys or perhaps some sort of storage bin. From there, you can get aerator which basically keeps the water inside the bin or tank, constantly moving, its like a filter in your ordinary fish tank. 3. Your last and probably best option, is to buy a portable live well, either one you can easily install in your boat, or one thats hand held. I have a hand held live well, and it works perfectly... i bought it in florida, and we kept shrimp in there, it could hole about 4 dozen shrimp in there, all i did, i attach a string to the handle and let it sit in the ocean. Worked like a charm! Hope that helps you out Rob!
  22. No, i dont think a yote can clear a 6' fence, however, they are capable of finding their way through fences , always make sure there are no holes at the base of the fence, i think your fine, however, if you want to be safe, reinforce the bottom of your fence, just in case! Hope that helps you out.
  23. impressive!, have you ever tried making hard bait lures.. ill tell ya, its a long process, but its fun making em. I make lots of topwater baits, easiest to make in my opinion, you should try it!
  24. These pics are amazing! May not have a good fishing trip, but the wildlife you saw makes up for it
