  2. Just picked up a pair of ROCKY 8" Bobcat Insulated Hunting Boots at BPS, also, my dad just recently gave me a new fishing scale!
  3. This really isn't a serious issue, but, I have 30 bucks on my Bass Pro Shops gift card, and I wanted some suggestions on which lures / fishing gear I should buy? Im looking at Rapala x-raps, tail dancers, super shad raps.... Also... has anyone ever tried out an Arbogast Jitterbug??? My firend and I have been fishing at his cottage this past summer, and he cast out a jitterbug, and surprisingly he hooked a large smallie! too bad though that he totally bit the line and took the bait! but it seemed to work great at his cottage! How well do they work???
  4. I actually plan on buying a new zoom-in lens for my digital camera,, but for these pictures, i used my DSLR.
  5. There tough to see, but hey, its the best I could do without a zoom-in lens! But I shall try and get some better pics eventually!
  6. I must say, you have a great selection of different lures!!! I also like the topwater frog and the swimbaits! .. but man... you definately need more x raps

  8. Just came back from my grandparents, and I was fortunate to see some animal activity! My dad at first spotted a doe, and with some patience, I watched another 3 more does emerge from the bush. While watcigng them feed, I noticed somediturbance just past them, luckly enough, a coyote came out of the bush to check out the deer! Though, the yote' didn't seem very interested in the deer, so it eventually ran off. I attempted some shots at the deer, but they were too far off to get a clear view, but I was able to get some pictures, quality wasnt very satisfying, but I didn't have my zoom-in lens
  9. Great stuff!!! lol now you have like what? 9 x raps? but your totally set for spring!!!! I gotta get myself some x raps as well
  10. I would probably stick to the brains of the animal... I mean, you have the animals right there, you might as well use everything you can off the animal! ... but Human Brains!!.. Thats creepy
  11. I think if you want the most realistic mount, go for a skin mount, but make sure your getting a good taxidermist! ... but if your looking more towards just having a fish mounted, then go for replica! Lots of replicas look pretty realistic... if you want though the most realistic replica, that all depends on you! For a realist mount, you want to get the exact Measurements, get many pictures of the front, back, n sides of the fish, Give all that information to your taxidermist, and you should have yourself a very realistic replica!
  12. Heres what it looks like! http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=A8QeC7JaFok
  13. I was looking forward for some ice fishing some time soon, but after today's rain storm, i doubt going anytime soon
  14. Deer liver is AMAZING!!!!! If you want you can even throw it in a nice deer stew! Thats what we do sometimes, and it taste great!!!
  15. I wouldn't bother buying a smoker... in my opinion, i would stick to more natural ways of smoking! for example... The classic fire! Get a nice fire started, and then smother it with pine branches and pine cones. That should not only smoke it, but give it a good scent once its finished! Hope that helps you out!
  16. Im thinking more towards the Storm Wildeye Gobi's and Live Pike that you showed me earlier! Though, im still deciding
  17. I should really start buying some Storm Wildeye products!
  18. then again, it could happen to anyone
