  1. Nothing like a little gothic tunage on a hump day!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VyWNDxQQxM&safety_mode=true&persist_safety_mode=1
  2. I have a manual inflatable vest and I do find myself actually wearing it where I wouldn't with a regular vest.
  3. The best boating site on the net IMHO is Iboats. You should be able to find out what you need to know there. Check the Boat Refurb forum for the repairs to the boat and the Johnson & Evinrude motor forum for your engine.
  4. HMMMM, there must be something wrong with the guage on my boat as it actually gives a good indication of fuel level when running or standing still. Granted it does move a little bit under acceleration but it doesn't say full until you stop and then drop drastically like everyone here is saying is happening on their boats. Where are the tanks located in your Lunds? What are the tanks shaped like? And what is their orientation? In my boat the tank is located a mid ships is rectangular in shape and runs from port to starboard. The sender is in the top middle of the tank. With the tank going crosswise across the boat the fuel can't really move that far, where if the tank was lenghwise and the sender close to the back of the tank all the fuel will stack up in the back of the tank giving you a false full reading. IMHO
  5. Working on it. Iy will be done soon. I want it right before publishing. I'm not one to rush these things Mike. Besides it's summer in the arctic and I need to enjoy all 2 months of it!!! LOL. Been busy planting trees around my place and working on boats so I can do a little fishing. Priorities man.
  6. I've entered the photo of my big pike from Eddie's camp into a little photo contest a friend is putting on and I could use your help with some votes. Yeah, I know................. not again!!!! You just need to LIKE the Salty Shores page (on the right under join us on Facebook) and my Contest Entry (below my entry). You can also fShare, Tweet and Google +1 the entry. The contest runs for 30 days. Thanks for your help OFNers!!!! :thumbsup_anim:
  7. I haven't fished there in a few years but my buddy has told me the new slot limits are really starting to help the fishery. He told me that the fishery was going down hill for a long time before the MNR finally instituted the slot and he worried that it was too late, but it seems to be helping quite nicely.
  8. I love fishing that system. A freind of mine has a nice place on Muriel Lake and I have spent some time fishing the area.
  9. There ya go!!!! Don't forget the connectors as they're sold separately. Also I use the heat shrinkable crimp connectors to connect connectors into the existing harness. They are available at NAP and CTC for sure. They are a little more $$$ but they have hot glue in them that completely seals and waterproofs the connection. Don't forget the dielectric grease on the end that connects to the light.
  10. I have a set of PA led lights as well that I got on sale last year at 50% off. Just need to set the time aside to install them. LOL
  11. Noah's in Etobicoke will have what you need. Noah's Marine Supplies
  12. You might be a redneck if................
  13. I know my hull weighs 900#, 90 horse 2 stroke about 300#, 44#'s for the kicker, trailer about 500#, 3 batteries close to 200# and 18 gallons of fuel about 110# and add about 60#'s or so for the bow mount TM. That works out to 2114#'s. You're going to add 100#'s pounds for a 4 stroke either 90 or 115 HP which will bring you up to 2214#'s (on my boat at least). This still leaves almost 300# for gear before you hit 2500#'s. This is my 18 foot Fisher.
  14. Depending on the boat you are probably going to be in the 2,500# range with batteries, fuel, boat (18' aluminum), trailer and fishing gear.
  15. $96 at LeBarons. Minnkota replacement pedal
  16. Bernie It's time to come out of the dark ages man. :rofl2: High speed is here to stay you may as well accept it and come in to the light!!!!
  17. I was watching the game at the dome when they won and afterwards went up Younge to party with everyone else and never saw any Bull at all. It was high 5's and revelrie all the way. Even the cops were getting in on the action.
  18. Oh ye of little faith. The time cometh soon on the backs of the all mighty Reimer and bretheren!!!
  19. I use These Part# PTTD604H or PTTD606H depending on thickness of the metal where the rivet is going. These are 20% stronger than aluminum rivets and are stainless rivet/mandrel so they won't corrode. Put a dab of 3M 5200 sealer on before inserting the rivet and it will never leak again.
  20. What a bunch of friggin' idiots!!!
  21. Check the shift cable where it connects to the kicker, could have come loose/disconected.
  22. Good stuff!!! :thumbsup_anim:
  23. Not so far. I need one of them stingray hydrfoil thingies to get it to plane out properly. I kind of thought it would before I even had it out as these inflatables all tend to be difficult to get on plane due to their design. Hopefully that will do the trick. It's comfortable for one to fish out of though. On the capacity plate it is rated for up to a 4HP so I have no worries about it self destructing Hopper San. I do want to try it out on my Fishcat Cougar though. Might have to name her Miss Fishwiser if I do.
  24. The pics of JR. Great for all those little lakes and for fly ins.
