  1. Haven't used any yet. But I dress like this.
  2. I have an '05 Pilot. Great vehicle. Rear springs are a little soft, especially when you have a heavy tongue weight. Other than that there really isn't a thing I don't like about it. It's tows fine with my 18' but my camper loads it down pretty good. I put air bags in the rear to help with towing the camper and that helped quite a bit.
  3. A few pics from today. My buddy Brian working on getting us some bait. How a pale white guy from the Arctic dresses in the tropics!!! :rofl2: Trying for bull sharks with the Punisher!!
  4. Rick I just used the wiring diagram that came in the package when I wired mine up. I believe you are correct in your assumptions about the wiring though I would check against the diagram.
  5. I posted a Good Video on rigging up braid the other day. If you follow the instructions on attaching to the spool it will never slip, ever!!!
  6. I'll be out chasing them in Tampa Bay on Thursday Bill. :thumbsup_anim:
  7. Nope, never did. Did have a guy forget to put his vehicle in gear/park at the old abutments down river of the dam. My buddy dive a sweet dive out of the way as it carreened past him into thetailout of the run. I was at the head of the run on the East side at the time and watched this guys car launch of a couple of giant boulders and into the river. Didn't mess up my fishing though!!!! :rofl2:
  8. Ahhhhhhh, the old file hole!!! That brings back some memories!!! :good:
  9. Have you tried running a temporary/test line between the sender and guage? If the wire has started to corrode the higher resistance will effect performance. Disconnect the wire between the sender and guage and run a temp wire for testing and if it works properly replace the wire from tank to guage.
  10. I've heard good things about the Danvises.
  11. I don't know about under $100 but I am now using a Renzeti Traveler and it is a sweet vise. The jaws grip like crazy and it's a rotary. Unfortunately it is double what you're looknig to spend, but if you can swing the extra $$$$ you won't be sorry. I'm sure you will get plenty of responses of vises in your price bracket.
  12. Not if you reintegrate it using your reverse integrator ray first!!!
  13. My boat has a 6" deck plate right over the sensor/hose area. :good: It sounds to me like you need to find some hidden screws on the panel that runs down the center of your flooor. I would not just drill it in place with a holesaw as you could very well damage the sende/wiring/hoses/tank. The best thing to do is to figure out how to remove that panel and mark the center location over the sender area. And then cut out and install an access panel for future access.
  14. Hull type doesn't matter as the structure scan transducer is mounted off the stern the same as a regular transducer.
  15. Yeah, I would get a custom trailering cover for it. Especially since you are dragging it around in the winter with all the salt they throw around down there.
  16. As others have said it looks like it's running lean on that cylinder and is starting to burn the piston. Not a good thing. Best to look her over before running it again. They don't work to good on 2 pistons.
  17. Wow Mike!!! You get out alot!!! Have you recharged your flux capacitor? Could be that the dilithium crystals could be weak!!! :rofl2:
  18. You mean like this? Tooling around in my toon I was able to get really close to these fellas.
  19. I'm looking forward to my trip that starts Tuesday!!! Heading down to Tampa for Trout, Snook, Redfish, Tarpon and some off shore stuff. Hopefuully there will be some kings around. Oh yeah, we're going after sharks one day too!!! :good:
  20. Lew Those pins insde the plugs are only held in with 2 little tabs and are easily bent if the wires are tugged on. Or the tabs may have been bent in when it was assembled so the didn't have a good hold on the area in the plastic housing they clip into. By the way my dash looked like yours before I rebuilt it.
  21. You should see some of the server rooms I've had to work in Dan. They are like walk in versions of that!!! :wallbash:
  22. I rewired my Fisher as well. Instead of having wires all over the place behind my helm I now have 2 bus bars for + & - and all the fuses are accessible from the front of the console (they are located under the cover of my switch panel). I also installed 2 quick disconnects for the dash wiring so that dash removal is simple for any work that may need to be done in the future. The cover on the switch panel pops off to reveal the fuses. :good:
