  1. NAH, we actually have several dealers in town. I will be buying my new motor in Grande Prarie AB though because they charge way too much here for them. I'm buying a 115 and 9.9 plus new controls and Smartcraft guages and I can get everything there for the cost of the 115 up here!!!!!
  2. A Great White, cause they're eatin' machines and protected!!!! MMMMMMMMMMMMM, seals are sooooooo tasty!!!!
  3. I would have driven up with my new boat purchased from a different dealer just to rub it in their faces!!!
  4. Good deal!!! I don't have one of those but with that seat it's got to be really light and easy to pack into those back lakes. I have an ODC 816 which is similar and very light. I also have a Fishcat Cougar which is a much better built cat but alot heavier and not good for hike in spots.
  5. You can also look on The Auto Trader Site as well.
  6. I know Terry. I'm just having a little fun.
  7. This ones easy!!!! :tease: Walleye Pickeral
  8. Here's a good video on rigging up your spinning rod with braid/mono. Rigging up Video
  9. Thanks for under cutting me buddy!!!!! I got mine up in the classified section for $300 a piece since they are very rare and discontinued!!!! I used to have a lot of luck chucking Cotton Cordell Big O plugs as well. Perch, chartreuse, silver and best of all pearl white worked well for me.
  10. It's supposed to be pretty quick and painless with an electric fillet knife. It is a bit of a chore with a manual one though.
  11. We aren't cheering a Habs win, that would be sacrilegious. We are cheering another Sens loss. :clapping:
  12. You murderous ghoul!!! Looks yummy!!!!
  13. HAHAHA, been away too long. We don't have closed seasons up here.
  14. Sorry should have said best colour pier pitching spoon.
  15. Wow!!! Don't tell me they got rid of their best pier pitching spoon!!! I still have a couple in my box, but now a days they are used for ice fishing duty. I would start looking around the smaller tackle shops for them. There's a better chance of finding one if they have been discontinued.
  16. Not necessarily. There are lots of places that open on the 3rd Saturday in April that have regular rainbows in them.
  17. Actually I catch very few steelhead now. But every fall I catch tons of rainbows and occasionally a steelhead or two. Here's one of those little rainbows I chase after.
  18. Steelhead are anadromous rainbow trout. This means they are a rainbow that migrates out of it's natal river to an ocean or large lake (Great Lakes) when it smolts. It lives it's life in the ocean or large lake and when mature it returns to it's natal stream to spawn. It returns to the ocean/lake after spawning to return (hopefully) yearly on these spawning runs. A rainbow (non-steelhead) is one that does not drop out of it's natal stream into a large lake or ocean. It spends it's life in the river/stream it was born in.
  19. Those wires could very likely connect to a relay that activaes the horn. Check to see that you didn't accidently pull any of the wires off the relay when you were working on connecting them to the new switch.
  20. You need to take up ice fishing so you have to tow your quad or snowmobile around all winter. Keeps you in tune for the softwater season.
  21. Wow, that's one smart bird.
  22. They look like they would be perfect chunked up and used for catfish bait.
  23. I asked that once while bottom fishing in 400' of water off islamorada with 3#'s of weight on the line. I asked the captain "how the heck do you know when you have a bite with all this line out and weight?" His answer was simply "Oh, you'll know " He was right, darn near got yanked outta the boat!!!!!
  24. I used Primrose when I stocked my pond but here are a couple closer to the Grey/Bruce area. Hatten in Chatsworth Hedley's in Belgrave
  25. I just use One of These When I want to hook up my trailer I just drop it on the hitch and back up. No having to line things up, judge things in the mirrors. Just back up until the hitch contacts the aligner and drop the hitch on the ball. No need to worry about over shooting the ball by a couple of inches and dinging your bumper either.
