  1. But at least they play in the NHL and I get to see them. :tease:
  2. This just in. Got confirmation of some of the players that will be attending Sundays sold out festivities. Wondering who else will show. Jordin Tootoo Chris Phillips Grant Clitsome Craig Anderson Chris Neil Nick Foligno Derek MacKenzie Guillaume Latendresse Marc Methot Jim Slater
  3. Don't care!!! Haven't watched a game since the last strike. Was a big fan before that.
  4. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, PIIIIIIIIIIIE!!!!!
  5. I'm sure they can do a matte or semi gloss finish if you ask for it. I have a couple of replicas I want done just need the $$$$ to pay for them. Them biguns cost a pretty penny.
  6. Got a Merc 4hp 2 stroke on my 18 footer and I top out at about 7mph (hull speed). I don't use it for trolling that is what I use my big motor for (90hp 2 stroke 1991 model). It's there incase I have an issue with my big motor when out on the big lake.
  7. If he doesn't have a quad or sled he's goona have to build a Smitty sled in order to be able to get it out there. Google Smitty sled for more info. I tried hauling my Trekker II by hand once (there was two of us) through 8"-12" of snow. We hauled it about 1/2km to where we wanted to fish. It was freaking exhausting!!!!
  8. WOW!!! I never noticed that helicopter or any cameramen following me around.
  9. I see why you didn't get yer moose. You were too busy messing with the whiskey jacks!!! You completely missed the 6 moose doing the conga in the background!!!
  10. That poor man!!! I say put him in a dank, dark, rat infested hole and forget about him!!!
  11. Paper said that the roster will be confirmed after Thursdays game in Thunder Bay. So hopefully they print it in next Fridays paper. Though it doesn't really matter.
  12. At least the lockout is good for something!!! The NHL lockout charity tour is coming to the NWT!!! Next Sunday will see me with my DSLR at the local arena to watch some NHLers and have some fun.
  13. And I'll tow your boat but I'm 55 hours away!!!!!
  14. Simon That stance is pretty skinny. I thought you may have been mistaken but checked the site and it is indeed 32" on the Tundra and the Skandic isn't much wider at 35 and change. If it were me, I would get one of those Yamaha Venture Lites. They have a 43" stance (the same as my Venture GT). Much more stable and I haven't really had any issues in the bush getting around with the extra width.
  15. Looks like a dark coloured channel cat to me. Where was it caught?
  16. Done!!!! Even though I would rather scratch my eyes out with a rusty nail than listen to country music!!!!! :tease:
  17. Me too!!
  18. They're planning on several up here in the NWT!!! Can't wait!!!
  19. I've never even thought of trying to pull start my 1000cc Yammy and I don't even worry that it would ever need to be. I also sled in much more remote places. Note to self: put old belt in sleds emergency kit.
  20. Same water!! It spent most of it's time chugging around Lake O.
  21. I'm a Merc guy and my 90 is 22 years old and has had the impeller replaced twice.
  22. No safeties here either Bill.
  23. That's pretty, but not as pretty as mine!!! :tease: And yes it starts fine down to -25 past that it needs to be plugged in like my car. My Alaskan friends have been able to start their SkiDoo ACE600's down to -40 without plugging in. I generally don't ride when it's -40 as it's too hard on the equipment.
  24. I think it will be a great sled for what you want it for. Good long and wide track for off trail and a nice spot to carry your ice fishin' stuff on the back. I have talekd to some of my Alaskan friends that have or know people with ACE600 Skidoos and they have been very happy with them. They have even been able to start them in very cold temps (much colder than my Yamaha) without having to plug them in. I would get the ACE600 motor (like we discussed over PM's) Tundra LT
  25. Exactly. It drops to -50C at times here. Which is well above the freezing point of a fully charged battery. And with the onboard plugged in at all times it will never discharge to a vulnerable state. Before I got the onboard the batteries came in the house for the winter. My buddy keeps his boat here at my place as well but he doesn't have an onboard charger so his battery is in my house where it can stay nice and warm.
