  1. the high water mark only apply to water affected by tides not yearly hight water levels... there are some lands that the owners do own the land under the water(not many anymore) .. the thing to do is take canoe and float down the stream/river you want to fish......and video the trip...believe it or not doing the same thing in the winter on a snowmobile counts too..it proves it's navigable......... then keep a copy of the write up in Mr JR's link and you should be good to fish......unless they have a gun
  2. here's a picture of my best muskie spot on simcoe

  5. well Don even this board goes south every now and then, but over all a great place to park a chair and lie about fishing welcome aboard
  6. mixed feelings here I had a kawartha lake buggered up because of photos I posted..it only took 3 weeks and the spot was dead....so I do know what you mean...... but the fish should only be part of the reason we fish..I enjoy the scenery behind the angler and not to know where they are fishing but because I like the scenery .... and it kinda kills the idea of what the internet is for... and I have seen people get upset just because someone posted the name of their favourite lake I don't know, I guess we need to find a balance some where some how
  7. yup, know lots about it still don't know why the gov. agreed to scrap it and destroy all the planes and plans.....they were almost the equal of any fighter jets made today
  8. oh yeah, I would be thinking about b!tch slapping the guy Whopper, now the regs are confusing and never clear but..it is only for transporting the fish that it needs the patch of skin on and what not, once you get home you can do what you want...well that's the way I read it

  15. I can if there is no boat ramp on the lake.....lol
  16. well I had a little time so I thought I would take the new folding boat out for a test on the river took a little longer to put together then my old one, but that square back is nice found out the transom isn't thick enough for my electric to tighten down so I will be adding a piece of wood and the 2.5 hp motor needs to be raised a bit so it can swing all the way right and left..all easy to fix but it was all together so off I went...the 2.5 pushed her at 10kph..just a flying stopped and did a bit of fishing..didn't catch anything got back to the ramp and it came apart real quick..all and all it was all I was hoping for and I can't wait to get it on the ATV and fish some more back lakes, if I can find any more.............

  21. I don't know of any on that side but from what I hear later this year they are closing that area to fishing too..problems with litter seems to be the towns reason.they closed youngs harbour last year to fishing and now Beverly isles this year......we seem to shoot ourselves in the foot all the time...
