Need some advice from the battery wizards!
Terry replied to Rattletrap2's topic in General Discussion
Considering my fishfinder goes portable in the winter with a 9 ah and it lasts all day a 27 group 100 amp battery will have no problem with 2 graphs i ran a HDS 8 on a single battery for a week 12 hours a day fishing from a 14 ft boat with no charging system and no power at the cabin and it lasted so there is a problem with his battery or system Something is draining his battery or the battery has issues -
Link isn’t working for me worked on computer but not on iPhone

2 graphs should not kill that battery that fast. And you did a load test and shows fine I would turn the graphs off and see if anything else is drawing down the battery. use a meter to see the standing voltage and the voltage with motor charging it. You could have a bad cell. -
Nice. Love them smallies

I like cyberflix but I only download it from their website through their Facebook page cyberflix tv developers support page because lots of other sites have the app but they put in their own trackers or worms and other nasty things to screw up your day https://m.facebook.com/groups/474411656374416/?ref=group_browse

You are not far off max rpm so props will not help too much. You may get a few mph faster with a ss prop. But I would look for other problems. Like checking motor heights or something else that causing drag. Or go on a diet. Lol. I mean the boat lose weight

I use my electric as autopilot. I fish by myself a lot and it’s nice to be able to fight a fish and re-rig up and just let the electric follow my track or route or heading depending on how I set it. don’t leave home without it

I hope Canadians keep supporting the businesses that advertised to Canadians, that advertise in Canadian dollars, that want us there all the time and not just when the target market dries up.
