  1. Icefishing is on the list of acceptable activities so if you have to go 40 k to get to good ice to icefish or the same to hit snowmobile trails which is another acceptable activity how can they argue although some stupid bylaw or police it will try to impose their own opinion of the law
  2. I watched his whole speech and question answer period and he did say it
  3. Ford said you can go stay at the cottage just take all the supplies you need for the stay. He said it. So I would determine traveling that far is ok. So me running 1. .5 km to my lake is golden I am sure there will be clarification in the future but for now we are good to fish for food or exercise
  4. It’s going to be up to municipalities if they decide to block access due to medical officer then only people with privy access will be fishing. But right now there is nothing that states we can’t fish and you can still have a group up to 5 at an outdoors gathering
  5. Yup , you do you need more equipment
  6. Thanks that is what I thought
  7. Ok i have had some people tell me they got tickets for snowmobiling outside there area tues and another Wednesday. I have not heard anything that is a law against travel. Has something new happened that I haven’t heard
  8. Damn, I hope he doesn’t charge me for the two he made me. Lol but I don’t think he would have much trouble selling a bunch of them
  9. When I got my18 ft Lund I took it out Nd had no problem get it to 50 mph. But it was in the break in period so sis keep it at that speed nor try to go faster the next day my 9.9 kicker was ready so it was installed. Then my electric and 3 big batteries 3 fishfinders all my fishing stuff and it never went over 43 mph again tried many props but it was just too heavy
  10. Yup cool
  11. When I am casting from the front of the boat 9 out of 10 times I need the foot pedal to control exactly where I am going
  12. Nice. I didn’t get the property I wanted but still looking
  13. I did mine with a bolt and taped the crap out of it. A copper nut and bolt would be best oh and it takes a while for the gps satellites to lock and the WiFi to the pedal or remote. So if you are stopping at a spot you want to fish right away or need control fast , turn on the trolling motor on before you get to your spot
  14. Yeah that’s on the keswick side and the southend on the Innisfil side it’s open all the way to the Holland river
  15. I think it’s cool and I see no reason why it wouldn’t work
  16. That plane was catch and release
  17. Remember the old saying you would hear on the tv or radio. No ice is safe ice ask an operator to be sure well years ago I was going out from Beaverton and through the I would ask what the ice conditions were like. About the same respond as you got from him If you’re not spending money why would I help you
  18. If some young nurse tries to stick my penis with a needle we are going to have a bigger problem
  19. That’s quite the catch
  20. Good to know. thanks
  21. Thanks for the info i am looking real near the town of Barry’s bay is the first property, but looking over by killaloe. Even a a piece of land by muskrat lake
  22. Read it. The mnr are NOT restricting any types of fishing because of covid. Now the municipalities could block access to the lakes but they don’t regulate huts, so if you can access the lake you can fish
  23. Right now you can use your own hut and family members can
  24. It is going to be interesting to see how they handle this hut rentals licensing falls under mnr but they are regulated under short term rental just like a motel or a renewal cottage by the health board Who put out which business can open under covid
