Yeah I use to use a flare gun for my trips up north in case I got lost or had to scare off a bear or a banjo player. But I was ruff on the plastic ones. So I wanted a metal one. Was told illegal and couldn’t buy one in Canada

Well it’s what the satellite picks up so it shows changes in the bottom structure that the map contour lines don’t show. gps is not 100 % accurate so it can show the lines and shading off a bit. But once you learn to read it, it will show a point on a point -
It was in a Peterborough news paper Direct quote from the news release.. READ THE LAST SENTENCE.... This is not etched in stone yet. Mayor Andy Letham says the city is targeting May 12 to reopen boat launches, landfills and open the rail trail to motorized vehicles. The rail trail would usually open around May 1, but will only be open to pedestrian traffic in light of COVID-19. “These are outside activities. These are local decisions we can make on a local level, but it will depend on the provincial state of emergency and our local state of emergency as well,” Letham said at a media briefing on Thursday (April 23). The province recently extended its state of emergency to May 12. As that’s the day the declaration could end, that’s the day the city is targeting. Related Content COVID-19 will have a 'huge impact' on local economy, says Kawartha Lakes mayor Letham stressed that anything could change between now and then with the pandemic, but he said he wanted to let residents know the city was “working on it.” “There’s things we can do there to maintain distancing and put some parameters in place,” he said. “I just want to stress that this is not a done deal. If we can continue on the route that we’re going, we’re on a good path over the next two or three weeks, then we can look at easing some of these things back into the community if we can do it safely.”

i think it will change shortly kawarthas plan on opening boat ramps on may 12
-
we are safe now
-
I have to believe every boater looking for an open ramp knows that But as marinas ramps open we all hope the municipalities see the light and open them too
-
Look at the size of the list it might have been easier to list what is now allowed lol

I watched the whole thing nice to see someone stating what most already know but don’t seem to report i for one already knew everything he said. Not exact numbers But I have asked how these third world countries are going to deal with covid I don’t know if many countries are going to step in to help while dealing with covid in their own countries. I also liked that he said WHO dropped the ball by not calling it a pandemic earlier and not taking steps earlier

I think this kind of business is going to be some of the last to reopen , so the whole summer could be lost
-
Yeah look 5 posts up. Lol but no ,may 4 they can prepare to open meaning Bring I employees and get boats out of dry dock and fix problems with docks and boats but not open to the public till they announce it
-

And I find when people say they have nothing against someone, it usually means they do but will try to not hold it against them you seem to be making it personal as I said my numbers are important to me i never said your numbers were unimportant usa death per m 186 canada 79 per m but as you said guess we win
-
My numbers are the only important ones to me. if I get it what are my chances , I can go with age and health too when only 16 had the virus and 1 person dies to say who cares it’s one in 2 million if it stay at 1 death for every 16 that is a know fact Other numbers are just a snapshot of the day And I don’t know why you’re thinking whether or not you have something against me what does that got to do with a conversation
-
Yeah but you can’t do the math on unknown numbers or you just get deaths = X
-
From where I sit you can only count the deaths per number of people who have had the virus let’s face it ,if you don’t catch the virus the chances of death from covid is 0
