      How was the new ATV bud? Ice thickness where I was today was crazy. 8" in spots,walk out to deeper waters and found 4-5. Next week looks like more ice making temps.

      The joys of a big lake... hearing it's an issue on Temag this winter as well in the South Arm with one foot heaves.

    I use Marcum LX-6 also have my hds5 with a portable pack and ice transducer I have the X67C ice and a setup with my X15 with a custom made transducer going to put the hds5 on my atv as a gps garmin hand held on my skidoo I'm ready

    most boats are aluminum or fiberglass a magnet will do nothing you can buy one with a suction cup , it works well a transducer on a cut hockey stick and a clamp works well too

    and I did not catch a thing on my williams...hmmmmm but caught about 30 herring on really small jigs and most of them hit while I was reeling the jig away from them just like trout would chase

    the camera is colour but when you start to lose light you lose the colour most times my cameras do have lights but I never use them in most lakes you have zooplankton and the light reflexes off it and you can't see a think
