  3. Nice fish Frankie... I should go out for some fresh chrome on hardware out at the piers! I need a long net... that's why I don't go LOL
  4. All the best bud! I LOL'd pretty hard at the comment about marking down which nut to take out.
  5. Beautiful steelhead...I'm waiting for one like that
  6. Amazing detail! I'm actually really thrown off by how amazing it looks.
  7. Tough decision. I hope it all works out...best of luck.
  8. Yeah...they really do hold their value. Isn't it a pain to carry around on the rivers though? I stick my Canon T2i in my waders and for the most part, only have the nifty fifty on. Compact and doesn't feel uncomfortable on the river.
  9. That's durability right there!
  10. That L glass sure produces some sweet shots! Did you get the lens used?
  11. NICE!!!! Best way to fish alone is to get a boat.
  12. Looks like a great outing Ryan Great to see the CO's out.
  13. Sorry to hear about that Geoff. As mentioned, contact your insurance and make a claim after reporting it to the police. Chances are, you'll end up paying your deductible.
  14. Congratulations Aaron! That sheepshead looks ridiculous. Beautiful!

24-70mm What are you waiting for?
  16. Love the ones at the mouth man! Wallpaper material!
  17. It's NOT late for them to start hatching now. They will familiarize themselves with their new environments in the next few weeks before looking to hibernation. The females deposited the eggs in June/July and the eggs will either hatch around September/October or overwinter and hatch in the spring. I was fishing a small creek a couple weeks ago and came across a dozen or so tiny snappers making their way across the road. The female had made the nest right next to the road on the sandy shoulder. I couldn't live with myself watching these poor little ones get run over or picked off by seagulls or crows, so I picked them all up and put them into the water where they swam off. I followed the trail of turtles and it led me to a hole in the ground with a few tiny heads poking through it. Hard not to smile LOL.
  18. Mike has turned me into a trout addict... and a double Big Mac lover. I was late for the action, but still managed a couple of fine specimens. This could very well be one of the most beautiful fish I've caught! I didn't do too well for browns, but managed a couple as well. This one had an adipose fin that was on fire! It was glowing in the water. I couldn't believe it.
  19. I hope to get my first trout on the fly rod today :)

  20. Better when he was driving a Subaru haha
