    Agree with you about the lakers, fishindevil. However, poor year classes, eutrophication and over-harvest will, and has IMO, has already done the damage in that regard. That being said, it takes a fairly large fish to want to hang in the depths with the grays. Hammerhandles like the shallows. The baitfish aren't a problem in the lakes I fish. Perch are around in massive schools and should bode well for emerging species like walleye and pike. Muskie, unfortunately, will be the first to dissapear...

    Reimers starting but i have a feeling hes gonna get shelled. Colorado has 2 goals in 3Gp. They'll be hungry and want to build on the win over the Bruins. 1A from both Duschene and MacKinnon. When they wake up, theyre going to be scary good.

    Pretty sure the careless and points was discussed earlier. Police can charge after an incident if its found that texting played a role? The heavier fine is lip service. You can walk into court and have the fine halved and payed on the spot. The whole "distracted" part is what gets me. Careless driving pretty much encompasses texting already and carries a bigger punishment.

    Should be a way bigger fine+ points if youre caught txting and driving. The fact that they created a "distracted driving" ticket, when its clearly a careless charge, is crazy. Ive seen guys at 530am texting doing 130+... Im not sold on phone calls, but the punishment for texting and driving should be as strict as it gets.

    Weird, the article says right off the hop that they were charged with fishing OOS bass. But then the article only mentions fines toward fishing without a licence? Are they just trying to cause a stir with the first statement?

    What I meant was A) this issue has been around the block. no pics or video of the offending party had been taken. Edit to add: A quick google search pulled this article on the first page. The article in the OP says the offending pics were taken on April 20 of this year. This article is from April of 2010. It points to a regular pattern.     Funny thing is, I thought the OP was from 2004, not 2014... Also somewhat amazed that noone has been able to snap pics or video, considering that just about everyone has a phone with the capability to do so.

    I will add a caveat to your warning. A lot of "ethical" anglers will jump to their own conclusions and, rather than teach, will jump down a guys throat for doing something that he may not know is wrong. Give people the benefit of the doubt before you get too crazy. Off topic, bring some garbage bags. Nothing gives anglers a worse badge than the mess left behind on trout opener.

    I'm not sure if it's the coach or maybe there needs to be a change in the guy wearing the C. Edit: totally agree with your post muddler. Dont see Kessel throwing big checks on anyone though, he plays a speed game.

    Lindners magic formula changed the angling world. Thats why i listen to every word he says. When it comes to fishing anyways. Used to be science and religion held hands. Now its a bunch of people telling the other that they're wrong.

    Emery should be suspended. He basically gooned Holtby who didnt want to fight and then punched him in the back of the head a good 1/2dozen times. Im happy to see them in the gutter.

    Komarov is indeed missed. Was discussing this with my Father in law awhile ago. Bolland and Clarkson were WAY behind Komi in hits last year. Think he was 3rd or 4th in the league. Great agitator and this leaf fan really misses him.
