  1. Laws current until 2013-09-16, so currently no laws on growing or posession? Maybe someone can clarify this? http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/C-38.8/page-25.html#docCont Also found this in regards to Old Ironmakers Q on legality to grow x amounts... http://www.canadianmedicinalmarijuana.com/?p=28
  2. I cant even access the league page? No Bettman to be found either?
  3. I figure he was trying to free up some capspace to get Franson re-signed?
  4. Was wondering the same thing. Also, I remember a fellow angler poining out that dressed trebles in the fall outdid bare jerks 9/10.
  5. ^^ the No.1 spot was evaluated and Bozak was thrown big dollars + term. The Kadri camp may not have much bargaining power as RFA, but they certainly can argue that if Bozak was thrown that contract, then Kadri deserves a significant upgrade.
  6. 6-7ft of 10# fluoro on 15lb braid. Uni braid, double Uni on the leader side. Lost some pike/musky that probably flossed the line taking the lure from the side. But I cant think of one time the line has broken at the knot. Also only use a swivel when river fishing. IMO, it's redundant unless using spinners.
  7. Going to guess they've booked for the next few years after that was posted. Awesome fish!
  8. Dont mind the idea of using splitshot if its a single, just find dropshot specific weights to be more accurate to the depth Im fishing. Meaning, one look at the bag and I know whether or not im grabbing the 1/4oz or the 1/2oz. That being said, Im not a big fan of the pencil style because of the tipping motion it has. I'll grab the cone type or ball type just because its more compact and adds to the sensitivity when fishing vertically or on a drift. The contact is right there. Stacking splitshot would seem, in theory anyways, to act more like a pencil weight, only not as smooth. If you could find single shot in 3/8 and 1/2oz? Probably wouldnt be any different than using a ds specific weight.
  9. I have my doubts about a franchise making "homemade" gravy. That is where most poutine falls flat.
  10. I dont know the length or girth of O'Brian or Grover. Without that info, it is impossible to judge their fish against each other.
  11. Have to agree with this post and the one below it. Summer beats snow and freezing temps 10/10.
  12. Pre-spawn, 64"? Monster indeed! I was going to comment on the jacket, but it was caught in May, not today.
  13. Animals chase bike riders on a regular basis. First I've heard of a wolf involved though. Crazy story.
  14. With bonuses, Weidman topped at 98,000. Reports were also that the UFC would more than likely top that up privately as well. Weidman won't be hurting for cash anytime soon. Especially when it comes time to negotiate a rematch!
  15. Wow, not what I expected to hear waiting for the coffee to brew!
  16. Im all better, CLs not really my gig but once I get to the cottage you can bet there'll be a cold one after i get out for a few casts! Its all good, just needed to blow out the wrong end for a bit...
  17. So let me get this straight... The Leafs sign Bozak, who has only broken 40pts once and has never potted 20goals, and Clarkson, who makes Komisarek look like an Olympic speed skater and averages 29 pts per season to contracts in excess of 4 mil each? In the process lost Clarke MacArthur who signed for 2, not 7, years at a little over 3mil per? Its official, I threw up all over myself.
  18. Glad Komisarek got a deal so quickly.
  19. Of all the possible guys that the Leafs could get today, the only guy that interests me a little is Horton. Even then hes injury prone and might not have the wheels to keep up. No to Clarkson or Weiss. Nonis left alot of cap room but is going to end up with alot of poor contracts 3yrs down the road if hes not careful. Hopefully he finds something on the trade market.
  20. Heres the Siegel piece. Wasnt twitter... http://www.tsn.ca/toronto/blogs/jonas_siegel/?id=426967
  21. Carlyle misplayed Lupul out of town in Ana as well. Looking at it from that point of view tells that neither of them (Lupul in Ana and Grabs now) were very good defensively. Still fuming over the buyout and dont think Weiss, who is only a marginal upgrade at this point for a guy picked 4th overall, is the answer. Neither is Bozak. I really think Carlyle made a poor decision here, but am really appreciating the fact that Nonis is holding everybody accountable. Gonna miss 94. Loved watching him buzzsaw all over the place. Some lucky team is going to get a very motivated player at a very reasonable price. Have to add, search out Jonas Siegels twitter. Grabs parting words on Carlyle made me laugh
