  2. Mark is no longer owner but is working with the company
  3. Yes they are back
  4. Doesn't matter really if it's transport approved as long as you have the proper amount of approved pfds somewhere in the boat, I wear an auto inflate pfd with my artic armour suit in the boat, I'd suggest the same if you go two piece and don't wear the jacket, last thing I want is pants on that float and not my upper body
  5. I have one it's great way better than my Helly Hanson float suit, artic armour is far more comfortable , fishing world sells them
  6. You can camp at fishmasters Marina and fish from shore all night
  7. IMO think he lost that pike cause his drag was loose you can hear it when he sets, you watch the first few cranks he's spinning the handle and rods going slack. Later on when they are crappie fishing Aaron ask him to check for a tight drag....
  8. If all goes well Costa Rica for rooster fish and my annual Cuba bone fishing trip around May usually.
  9. Alumacraft
  10. Pretty sure they gave them US bass because Manitoba bass Is open, they really don't gain anything else from being able to fish us water
  11. EBay has some Can also try these guys, the anvil head will sit up a bit http://www.mmjjjigflies.com/products.html
  12. I have that same graph on a ram mount. Comes off fairly quick when you unscrew it, it just pops off the ball, can also take it off the ball mounted to the boat and leave the arm attached to the graph, have my HDS mounted the same on the dash but with the bigger ram mount Cheapest I found when I looked http://www.gpscity.ca/ram-mount-rectangular-plate-short-surface-mount-ram-111u-b.html
  13. It's a great show, and niagara is an incredible fishery!! We're lucky to be so close to so many species and year round boat fishing . The out come of this show is the best part no trophy, cash prize. Rods donated to kids getting into fishing no matter the outcome everyone wins
  14. Are there any real benefits to going this route? By the time you buy a drill, adapter, auger, 5 battery's .
  15. If its at the st.Catharines store let me know and I can ship it to you, probably looking at $15 shipping though
  16. I picked up a BNIB Elite 7 chirp today off Kijiji for what I think was a great deal. As with everything it has some good and bad reviews. I bought it for the bow of my boat to run through the terrova. Anyone have some hands on experience with these units? Was planning on making it portable as well.
  17. Thanks Hirk, it ended up being another issue all fixed up now
  18. I will be attempting to change the upper crank shaft seal tomorrow on my 1999 Mercury 50hp 4 stroke. Anything I should look out for? Seems fairly straight forward. Just looking for someone who may have done this before Thanks
  19. Going to be a busy day at the ramp, Straitline anglers derby is tomorrow, bring an extra $20 a person and enter! You might get that bigun
  20. Don't Stand in the water for 8 hours , waters to cold LOL.... try under armour hockey socks(real thin) then BPS redhead socks. But really I don't think there's any way around getting cold unless you do some moving around Remember it's not even been cold yet
  21. Angling Outfitters in Woodstock will get you the best deal. If your going with Minnkota they usually have a $80 rebate for a few months of the year
  22. Thicker than mechanics gloves. They felt like gloves you would wear skiing or whatever
  23. I have simms skeenas neoprene, patagonia R1 neoprene, simms wind stoppers the simms skeenas a really grippy. But they fit small I ordered a medium should have got the large, I tore them at a seam trying to get them off. Patagonia r1 is a nice glove but also fit small. They have more of a slik texture to the out side. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2byw0FNXkkY I had the Kast Gloves and sold them cause I found them to bulky for me The simms wind stoppers are my favourite but not water proof. I have 2 pairs of the flip over mitts. The cuff has a little pocket to hold a hand warmer. I like that I can flip the top over three of my fingers and poke my index finger out to hold the line on my spinning rods in winter I'm going to order the simms pro dry I think next to use while driving the boat. The favourite thing I have in my boat is a Lil buddy heater under the console I can dry my wet hands and then stick them in the windstopper gloves and get back to fishing.
  24. I had a huge maple taken down this summer . It was all taken down by a climber and it wasnt an easy job. I paid $1200 to have I removed I cleaned the leaves and limbs up
