  1. I can't think of a better way to spend Thanksgiving, family, good food, fish and the magical French River.
  2. Nice Chad! Yeah, some of the details would be interesting.
  3. My nephew and Kadri give the finger to Dave during the Dallas game (win)
  4. that's what I would do, and as a pet owner I hope others would do the same for me, closure
  5. I'm a pet guy, it's not your fault what happened though. If it was me, I'd put it in the chest freezer, post a few signs tomorrow, talk to a few neighbors, and hopefully you'll find the owner and take it from there.
  6. "try to be a better man" and find the owners, tell the truth, give them closure
  7. The clocks go back and the arguments crank up. Hey Cliff, tell Justin to scrap this Daylight Saving Time crap too.
  8. 5 in 10 hours is awesome, quality fish too. Sounds like Pigeon is coughing up skis pretty consistently this fall. I'm not an experienced muskie guy but I like the Mepps too, in black bucktail, silver blade.
  9. Holy Christ, I'm gonna see if my father in laws bomb shelter from the cold war is still good, otherwise I'll start construction tomorrow.
  10. Rick, how the hell do you keep up on all this crap in BF Ontario, and have 5 plus kids, work 12 plus hours per day, fish, post here a lot, do you sleep? I can't worry about things I can't control, hopefully cooler heads prevail. On the news somebody said something like "go ahead, fight your wars with YOUR sons and daughters, not mine" and that struck a chord with me. If our shores are in jeopardy, that's one thing, but loosing lives for oil or to try and convert people to our way of life, go nuts, with your sons and daughters, not mine.
  11. ok, Shame on you Rick, you bad, bad evil man
  12. I assume you're staying in one spot, a resort or condo. Rent an SUV for the week, split the cost with the others, it's a safe place to wander, and lots of cool stuff to see off the beaten path, the west coast, around Mal Pais, a magical place, can't wait to go back there
  13. Nice fish Locnar. What's your itinerary for the Costa Rica trip? A few guys on here love that country, me included.
  14. Shame on you Dave, you bad, bad, evil man. interesting stuff, a little story I knew a poor girl in her early 20's with MS. She would take a couple puffs on the one hitter and could function pretty well. She didn't get wasted, just a few puffs through out the day, and I'm convinced it totally helped her quality of life. I'm a believer in the medicinal benefits.
  15. If you and Shane are fishing Saturday or Sunday night shift, it would give me a good excuse to get out for a couple hours, if it's the spot I'm thinking of
  16. Dude, you're killing me, I'm stuck in the city and you can sneak out and do that. Post a pic of the LS Ford spoon, I'm curious, if it's top secret, ignore this
  17. I've noticed that too there, early fall they are skinny, now until the 15th they are chunky. Looks like you've got them figured out Dutch, nice! Makes me wish I was fishing night shift eyes right now.
  18. 2 or 4 stroke? pretty sure it's a 4 what part is the shoulder? middle of the plug? terminal is where the cap goes on, electrode is the part that sparks Sounds like you didn't give them quite enough torque this spring, blow by
  19. The pattern of marijuana's effects seems to be distinctly different when compared to that of tobacco use. no crap, I know guys that smoke 3 packs per day, don't know anybody that smokes 75 joints per day, bad science, who's the author, I can write stuff on the internet too, is it true?
  20. I love Halloween, looks like you do to Joey. Butt mucher's eyes are pretty wide here. Crappy pic but I carved my pumpkin this afternoon. Me and my good friend next door neighbor set up the front yard. We have eerie music blasting, flood lights shooting back to the sidewalk so people can't see what's back there. Chiminea burning and drinks in the back. With little kids we take off our masks and be nice, with older kids we are merciless, no speaking, jumping out of bushes, grabbing ankles while hidden in a pile of leaves, throwing cherry bombs in the chiminea etc Love it! Neighbor bonding, fun, and no rain.
  21. Sounds like you're getting out a fair bit Bri, very cool, beauty football too!
  22. Who's the author? That's a work of art.
  23. that's your "first" tiger of the year, most guys never see a tiger in their lifetime putting big fish in the boat as usual Pete, very cool!
  24. They're trying to screw you. Post the name of the snake or the business. I had 4 poplars felled, 3 were giant, and 1 was leaning towards the cottage, for $425, it took about 1.5 hours, John and 2 students. John at Boshkung Tree Service, you could Email him the photos, he's not too far away.
