  1. If I was on Temagami I'd be in the hut, not on the computer
  2. Sounds like Brian put on a clinic out there. Thanks for the report, good luck tomorrow guys.
  3. Nice little get together there boys, good to see. Chad's fish is a tank! Now to derail this thread, I hear the Liberals want to tax ice driving.
  4. I don't know anyone that has done Edgar. I think it's a pretty good choice though. If I was going I would try to get a boat down the river and into Kesagami.
  5. Welcome. I would take Shawn up on that offer if I was you.
  6. I just can't picture Borger in the front of the boat. I'm guessing Cory won't last 2 days before you throw him overboard.
  7. I can't quote for some reason but Chad's wind bag comment is bang on. People often mention/ complain about all the NF content on here but then don't post reports or fishing content themselves. I don't like fragmented forums either.
  8. Yeah, wrong word OI I have a mentally challenged family member, a loved one. Say a bad thing about him and I'll smash your face.
  9. yah man, love u 2, thanks put idiot boaters in faster boats so people don't get killed if my kid is swimming on my busy cottage lake, I want idiot citiots boating at mach 1 because it's safer and so they can outrun crap
  10. If the waves are rolling that big, you think you can get on plane and skip along the crests? you think a citiot should try that to keep him safe? hahahah
  11. you want to call me out, ok so explain how a more powerful boat is safer for every reason you give, I'll give you a bunch that more power and speed can lead to trouble for the newbee, citiot, idiot boater you were eluding to
  12. Like Rick said, I'm glad I'm not a judge. We've all made some bad decisions and got away with it and we all are holier than thou. Give him capital punishment but those lost lives aren't coming back. Yep, glad I'm not a judge.
  13. I'm in! Cool there's no fee (I'm cheap). Any idea when the draw will be?
  14. thanks steve, I guess my insurance rates will go down when I upsize the outboard on my boat or buy a sports car, because I can outrun crap and it's "safer"
  15. I've had and rode tonnes of sleds. For what I like to do, the BR LT is the best sled ever made. And I can admit when something I've bought is crap.
  16. I've been blown off Erie and Lake O a few times and extra hp wouldn't have helped in the least. You guys should petition the gov't to get these laws in place, we need more idiot laws.
  17. No way. For the people your are talking about an under powered boat is safer. We got enough, we don't need anymore laws and regulation.
  18. Gotta ask, how is not being able to plane more dangerous?
  19. You'd be surprised. I had to run down the shore to catch a canoe with waders full of water, it was comical. If you end up in the water swimming with your waders on, take the straps off your shoulders and swim normally and the waders fall off. Getting sucked down is a myth. \/ \/ \/ what Rick said, feet forward but also feet high, if you get a foot caught in the rocks the current won't let you pull it out.
  20. Damn, I'd be out there any chance I could get if I was you Chad. Some guys take and fry the pectoral fins too.
  21. I road a short track Bravo for 2 years, it was good in the bush with deep snow and better than any other short track sled available now. I took my brother's newer 4 stroke Phazer, rider forward, into the bush last year, totally useless, had to turn back. With my buddies Nitro I would never even think of leaving the groomed trail
  22. I'm not an expert at all, but I've kept it for 2 maybe 3 weeks, cool, shady spot, on snow, before boiling. How many trees and what are you using to boil it?
  23. If you come to the derby and pull out a banana, you'll be ingesting it in a different way.
  24. The epitome of a great Canadian winter family weekend IMO.
