I had a similar situation last year. The day before I left I called the last available gas station. I decided to buy it up there instead of hauling it. When I called I asked "what's the price?" and "are you fairly confident you will actually have gas tomorrow?", lol.

New fuel line eh, my guess is it's not the right one or a crappy one and the valve on the connector to the tank isn't opening all the way.

Missing pontoon boat. Please keep eyes open. (Nf)

Most pontoon boats are 8' wide and would fit (maybe not perfectly) on an over sized pontoon bunk trailer like I have. So it wouldn't be unheard of to steal it. Mostly likely it drifted away though. -

The each pontoon has at least a couple chambers. It's unlikely that all the chambers were punctured and the thing sunk to the bottom and now isn't visible. The cops should chain up a tinner with a decent 9.9 locked to it with a GPS tracking device (they're cheap) in the motor and wait. Jeremy's boat launch would be a perfect spot for this. It's simple and easy. There's probably only a couple guys responsible for all these thefts. Frustrates the hell out of me. -
Does anyone have a list of things to take on a fly-in trip

Dempsey wrote a really good article on the topic. http://www.lineonfishing.com/index.php/all-articles/how-to-pack-for-a-fly-in-fishing-trip -

There's a little ghetto area by my place, it's a long shot, but I'll have a look on the weekend. -

What's the brand of boat and motor? and hp of the motor? I'm guessing it's a Sunchaser/ Suzuki Was it a nice dock that's worthy of being stolen? Theft is out of control up there but the cops are too busy trying to nail the good people for petty crap. -
Looks good Simon. I think you're going to put together some really cool videos.

I've got Vanish in 10# and 12# and it's been good to me. I don't know if I would buy it again because everybody seems to say it's crap, lol. Double uni to the braid and improved clinch to the bait, never palomar. Isn't 6# a little light for Great Lakes SMB?

damn Bob Cole just sucks the fun out of watching a game

This guy pretty well sums it up. Nice rig Rick!

I've fished the French quite a bit. We've bumped into more muskies in early September rather than later in the fall. I'm definitely not an expert though.

Crosby is out for game 4 (who knows, his season could easily be over). I wish game 4 was tonight, I'm looking forward to watching that one.

It's a spring ritual for us. In late April, we wander up a creek. My eyes were on the water while I was walking along the riverbank trail and I almost stepped on a gosling. The other guys came up from behind me, we didn't say anything, we were all just looking down at the little guy. I had seen a family of Canada geese pretty far down stream. I had to wait for them as they got off the trail. Was this little guy part of their clan? He was skittish and tried to move away from us but he didn't go too far. How can we fix this? We began discussing what we should do. Cell phones came out, google searches commenced and the conversation continued. I was leaning towards picking him up, gently tossing him out into the riffle, with the hope he would be reunited with his family down stream, if in fact that was his family. After a lot of discussion, and a long story short, we decided it's best not to touch him, leave him where he is and hopefully the parents will pick him up. There was a nice looking pool just 100 feet up stream and we headed towards it. I'm guessing it was 40 minutes we spent standing around our little buddy trying to figure out what to do. When we started to leave and head up river, he started to follow us. We stuck by the decision that it's best for him if we just go. As we went, he followed. When the bush blocked him, he took to the river and swam hard against the current towards us. At that nice looking pool and above, the fish started to show up. We'll remember this outing mostly because of our little buddy.

Only a fraction of the water comes out the pee hole, most of the water exits through the port on the back of the shaft and the exhaust. If there's steam coming out of the pee hole = too hot for sure. Instead of using the temp of the pee hole water, a better way to check that the cooling system is working is you should be able to touch the cylinder head for a couple seconds without burning your hand.

Isn't it Twin Lakes Outfitters that have the camp on Van Poele? I've never been but I think that's a great choice. Lots of water and lots of species to keep things interesting.

I said it myself, and pretty well all of Leafs nation is saying it, just getting to the playoffs made this season a success. I'm not really feeling that now, I'm bummed, I didn't want it to end. That series was so close a couple of bounces and it wouldn't have ended. What's on TV now, Blues/ Preds, I couldn't care less.

Ovi plays a lot harder for his country than he ever does in the NHL playoffs. GM Brian MacLean eluded to making major changes if the Caps don't finally go deep. I'd guess Pens in 6.

good man Andrew, nice story just curious, what's the deal with the water circulation?
-
I think Babcock and upper management now knows who wants to win and will play hard and who is expendable

thank God we didn't mortgage the farm for shattenkirk, the only player I would want on that team is Oshie i'll take the rangers in the second round, any takers?

Gull Lake is 41. My 20 year old 8 horse Yammy started on the 2nd pull and ran like a top after sleeping for 8 months. Felt good to be back on the water and saw no boats, yeah, can't complain

I half assed thought about trying to invent something like that about 5 years ago. I thought the biggest problem would be keeping debris out of there, pine needles, detritus, just crap that ends up on the floor of the boat.

I love a big, physical team and a chippy, fight filled game, but we don't have that kind of team. I think the Leafs are better off avoiding the after the whistle stuff. They should play hard and hit, but they're not going to beat them in the alley.

I'm not sure we have the horses for that. I wish we did, like the team of 2013. I initially thought Kadri did a big swan dive but it's Niskanen not OV that did the damage. The commentators got it wrong too and thought OV was going to the box.
