  1. Those aren't 'Cute Perchies'.. they're JUMBOS!! Nice haul!
  2. Wow, you put a lot of life in your 'life'! It's good to see that the whole experience is greater than the sum of its parts.
  3. You'll find time a plenty fer fishin' amigo. The kids will be thankin you dearly, fer such a good time!
  4. Wow, nice size! Did it put up a fight?
  5. That gives a whole new meaning to being 'down in the pits'.
  6. Thanks fer sharin' Photoz. You really had me on the '72" ski' bit.
  7. There is a considerable loss of product caused by 'overspray'. It's hard to manage to spray just the lure surface without getting some on the nearby scenery as well.
  8. Gotta say there's some truth to that Danbo. Rap promotes violence.
  9. Yeah....... it's a shame the fish are 'hep' to those old lures, and can't be fooled by them anymore.
  10. I lived on a deserted island fer awhile, and I dispatched 5 of those water snakes with a machete over a period of 4 months.
  11. This whole board thingy is about entertainment. Fishing is entertainment, unless you do it for a living, then it ain't fun anymore. If members are posting stuff you don't feel is relevant, don't get all upset about it. You are taking this thing way too seriously.
  12. Lake Baikal, known as the jewel of Russia, is the deepest freshwater lake in the world, having more water than all of our great lakes combined. Several (20+) years ago, the tests they performed for water cleanliness was spoiled only by the the test tubes, it was that clean!!
  13. Ford is very good choice for Trucks not so good for cars. The Tauruses were (are?) nice cars. For the money. Nice being, nice interior, ok ride, roomy. The reliability, was the problem. A lot of different suspension stuff including the half-shafts were replaced twice during it's 320,000 reign. It was like every month a 2-300 dollar bill was needed to keep the car repaired. By the time, everything was fixed, the brakes were up for replacement, and so it would go, if you missed a month or two, you knew the next repair would be a doosy. Another one required a new/re-built tranny after reaching the 18,000 kilometre mark. Luckily that was covered by the warrantee,.... but ya gotta ask yerself, ....."how can a car with less than 19k need a new transmission?" Something wrong with that picture.
  14. I say yes, it would help to see the lure in action. It would show the difference between similar lure type/cost, if any. From a mktg perspective, I would suggest showing the lures being nailed by (hopefully) large gamefish.
  15. Well, I guess next time, you may handle things a bit different. What type and lb test, were you running?
  16. I don't hear of any tranny's being replaced on Honda civics, or Toyota Camrys 4 cylinder.
  17. Where's the pant portion to your rain gear? You must've gotten yer tail wet.
  18. I've used wire line that was spooled onto special wire line rods that had a roller tip top. We were able to troll gang spinners directly off the back of the boat.
  19. Yeah, that is true. As I mentioned, I tried that with a taurus, and at the 160 km mark the car was beginning to wander a bit, suggesting it was time to ease off, at 170, I beleive the rev limiter cut in... but on the Nissan Stanza (not the Sentra), it held the road like it was on rails, inspiring confidence. It was not rev limited either, it made it to 190 km /hr. It only had a four cylinder 2.4 L, but it really ran well.
  20. You got burned. All you have to do with an import's plugs is spit on the tips and wipe them off... good as new, no charge senior!
  21. Just wondering how many of you ever ran their vehicle fast enough to 'Bury the speedometer"? If yes, how fast and what year and model of vehicle was it?
  22. Just wondering if any members are experiencing problems sending/receiving e-mail? I gave up waiting on the 310 surf helpline.
