2 ties to the dock and no cover. Had a cover the first year and every time I came up it had blown off and water had gotten in anyway. No problems with theft either in 6 years.

Yep, got stung by a pickeral last month on my palm near the thumb. Stung for a week, no blotches.

Hey, I know that spot. nice fish

Arrived at the lake around six this morning to some overcast conditions. Pulled up to one of my bass spots and started casting a spinner bait to some grassy edges. About 10 casts in I had a huge hit. She instantly went airborn and made a couple of good runs, peeling off drag. Had her hooked on the outside of the cheek. Bass fishing was a little slow. Managed to get 18 largies and a few rock bass into the boat. Here is the best bass: Fished till 1pm and called her a day.

hit the lake at 5:30, fished till 2pm. Aroung 60 plus largies between the 2 of us. lots in the 3-4lbs range. Not the best opener, but ok I guess.

Shoot, I didn't even see this post. It was good to finally get out fishing with ya Geoff. Im looking forward to hitting the Bog with you again. I was out there on Wed. and stung a nice size musky in one of the spots we fished on the weekend, lost him on the hookset. If there is no rain forcasted we will take the long run over to the secret spot. Cheers Jeff

If your gonna buy on one of those smaller lakes up there make sure a large portion of it is designated for crown land. You could always keep your boat up there and trailer it to nearby lakes. I beleive Dickey is good for bass and laketrout.

Same thing happeded to me. Its the foot pedal circuit board. Small spring tabs that make contact on the board when you put your foot down. The middle of the tab had a whole worn right through. I managed to put a dab of solder on it and make it work again. Got throught the season but ened up buying a new foot pedal just in case.

I put a couple of those silica gel bags in my tackle box. They usually come with electronics products. Soaks up moisture.

Don't forget about Chavez. The corperate elite are gonna take a big hit now that he's taking control of the oil in his country. Definatley ruffled some feathers. Interesting how Russia is doing navel exercises off the coast of Venezuala. We'll see who's first Chavez or Iran. Perhaps Iran is too much of a threat to Israel for the US to be stiring things up over there. Something definately brewing.
