  1. Great report Curt. Looks like a fun time. My wife and I might be looking for a couple to split the rental of a cottage next year.
  2. Great report. Beautiful scenery and some nice fish.
  3. I've got a 2002 162 side console with a 40hp Johnson 4 stroke. Good boat, great on gas, not the best in rough water, overall very happy with it. I paid 13500 new, it was last years model still new on lot so price was marked down a bit. And like Fang said, could be a little wider inside, hard to get around when the 2 seats are side by side. Good for fishing with 2 people in boat, 3 would be crowded.
  4. Patrick and I smashed 2 muskies yesterday after big thundestorm rolled through previous day. Go get em!!!
  5. Yep. My leg swelled up big time. Finnally had to go to doctor for antibodies.

  21. Its just north of Norland, south of Minden on hwy 35. I think there are several Gull lakes in ont.
  22. Hooked up with Johnnybass on Friday to do some fishing. I wanted to try out Gull lake near Norland On. Got up to the launch and Johnnybass sprained his ankle while getting down from the boat. Ouch! It swelled up pretty bad but he was able to put some ice on it and continue fishing. It was a nice lake with some nice scenary... Tried around some islands hoping to get some smallies. Tried tubes and topwater....nothing. Fish finder was lit up like a Christmas tree. Move into a more shallow, weedy section of the lake. Tossed a senko to some old concrete peirs in the water and pulled out this fish... Couple minutes later this guy hit... Decided to try fishing some docks. Fish were either right under the docks or swimming between them... Fishing was a bit slow but some nice fish were caught. Couldn`t get a decent bite from the smallies, but the lake seems to have potential.
  23. Great report. I have that lake on my list of lakes to fish. Thanks
  24. Met up with Johnnybass at Sibbald Point on Sunday. Too windy to fish Simcoe so we decided to try Head lake. Hit the lake around 7....tried numerous island, points, shoals looking for smallies, walleye or muskie. We werent getting any fish and the wind was getting bad so we headed to a shoreline away from the wind. Hit some slop first looking for largies..nothing. It wasnt till we started fishing around docks that I had a huge hit..snap..broken line. Ok..were on to something. Started throwing jigs and soft platics around docks and got into some decent fish. We also worked various weedlines around the lake and they also produced some decent fish in the 1-2lbs range.
