  1. Had the opportunity to fish Lake Scugog on Friday with the legendary JohnnyBass. Now with a name like JonnyBass I'm thinking he must know a thing or two about bass fishing, Well it wasn't long before he lived up to his name.... Oh no the WGSF! Is the legendary JonnyBass destined for a day of fighting rockbass... I don't think so... It was a good day...30 plus bass a small muskie and several muskie follows.
  2. How well do they work in heavy weeds and or shallow water?
  3. Headed out last week with some fellow OFC members. First was Greg...we managed to catch around 25 bass, some decent sized perch and a walleye. Here are some of the pics. Second out was Sonicpike. Shortly after heading out I had a nice musky on but it broke the line. We managed about 20 bass that day between the 2 of us. Most fish were taken using black senkos or small white or black spinner baits.
  4. Had similar problem, changed the plugs and was good to go
  5. Nice bass, it sure was busy out there today, lots of boats.
  6. It was a fun day, but some tough fishing. We maybe managed to get 10 bass to the boat, but the perch and rockbass kept us busy. Had one hit from a small muskie too. Great company, will have to do it again sometime.
  7. what a goof. I would never pass someone like that. Nice fish by the way!
  8. Yep, we got soaked, caught some nice fish, so it was worth it.

  11. Ah..the old Scugog prop clean...classic.
  12. Yes, I will also be on holidays and hittin her hard, perhaps I will see you out there.
  13. Will be on Scugog again. Can't wait!
  14. Headed out on lake Scugog Sunday morning with a fellow board member grilw(Greg). Tried for some musky....first spot had a small guy follow a spinner bait to the boat. After a few rock bass moved to the mouth of the Noguon river...hmm nothing. On to the next spot...Greg nailed this one on a perch pattern husky jerk. About an hour later while moving along with the electric motor I see 2 muskies take off in opposite directions. Start casting to the direction one of them headed and this guy hit. Along with those fish we had tons of panfish and 2 largemouth to keep us busy.
  15. Bass Pro too expensive, I like Lebarons.
  16. I was thinking the same thing. I need to get a net to handle these fish better. I heard the rubber kind are the best, but what size?
  17. Decided to head out and try for some muskie yesterday evening. Start casting a white willow leaf spinner bait into some cabbage type weed in about 7' of water. Around 20 casts in...wham!...muskie on...crappy hook set and shes off. Was able to get a look at her, nice size. Spent another half hour casting in the same area, Wham, another one. managed to get this one into the boat. Put up a nice fight for a small muskie. Managed another hit after this one but again the fish got off. Sun setting...time to hit the evening walleye spot. Sun goes down and out come the walleye/pickeral. Manged to get 5 walleye/pickeral to the boat.
  18. Its a SCAM. Aparently there are some of these ads in the Boat Trader as well, so be careful.
  19. Hello all... My name is Jeff and I am a new member to this board. I do most of my fishing at Lake Scugog and have had my boat docked there the last six seasons. Fishing seems to be good this year. I was out last Wed night and nailed a musky, 3 walleye pickeral and the usually rockbass/perch. Here is a pic... Also was up there last night...nailed another 5 walleye pickeral!! and 1 largie. Cheers
  20. I'll be up on Scugog, my 6th year there. Last year was a little slow, but landed over 40 on the opener 2006
