even thou this is funny....if that had been me, you would also be going home to change your clothes! You really shouldn't do stuff like this cause you never know who you will run into or what type of weapon they may have. Its just a fishing spot...relax guys. Find other places to fish....do some research and you may be surprised at what places you may find!

i have a sheffield and mine gets sand inside too. I just wash it out after or when I am not lazy!! I really don't worry about it, and can't afford a better one.

I find a kayak is much easier to manuever than a canoe. I have a sit in one....the opening on my kayak is very large and can fit all my fishing gear between my legs! I personally would go for a sit in, if you have a sit on kayak and tip you may lose all your gear much easier.

Relax guys...geez! I also live in Fort Erie. The coal docks at the end of Jarvis street can produce bass. Also try throwing spinner baits at palmwood launch in crystal beach. I do most my fishing around here out of a kayak, so i don't fish the shorelines to much in the summer. Also the lower Niagara in the Glen area is good for bass also, fish with tube jigs.
