it can be if you know how to fish it. Like some of the other guys said it is not a fly fishing spot but maybe your friend will set you up with a bottom bouncing set-up. Alot of fish hold in there before the spring run up the rapids.

get yourself on the niagara parkway. go past the power plant and stick to your right at the circle after the power plant. go down the hill and dumphreys is like the second street at the bottom of the hill. make a right turn on dumphreys and follow that straight thru 2 stop signs and continue going straight. can't miss the launch

wow thats pricy for a custom build! And the guy I know is actually on this board and has been building rods for over 20 years and is not a cousin of a cousin. I think he goes by NiagaraRiverPro on here. He is on a few different boards and goes by different names.

I know a guy that builds awsome custom rods and they are reasonably priced also, if your interested.

Did anyone else have to get a new card this year. I went to get my sticker put on and I have only used 2 of the 5 year slots on the card and the lady at Canadian tire told me i had to get a new card. Was there recently a change in the cards?

i was thinkin also of putting the kayak out one more time but Erie has been so windy and wavy i said forget it. sucks sometimes being 3 blocks from the lake and can't use the yak. And i have a float suit and don't think i would go in this time of year.

well i agree with unions being greedy for more wages.....i was a latest victim here in Niagara when it was coming up on negotiations and on my 89th day the company terminated my contract for the second time this year. I have seen first hand how unions protect the insainly lazy worker. It all came down to numbers and the unions were getting greedy and the company didn't want anything to do with that, and didn't want another negotiating contract. But oh well, out on my ASS and hit the grind again.....can't really do anything about it!
