they can give them all the money in the world but it still does not cure anything. Alot of People can't afford to buy brand new cars anymore cause they have lost there good paying jobs. So how is bailing them out a cure. Bailing them out won't boost car sales!

well sometimes cheaper....$140 for rod and reel for bouncin and over $500 for rod and reel to float fish...LOL. But I get 10-15 times more fish on most trips....so i guess it is a wash...LOL

it is just getting started down here, i would wait a week or so to burn your vacation day and then you wil more than likely get into the numbers. But good job drifting in the niagara can be tough, thats why i switched to float fishing instead of drifting..LOL

My girlfriend owns a gymnastics club and she would never be able to get away with treating her athletes that way. She has to deal with psycho parents if she raises her voice. Its a whole different world over here comparred to china!

I doubt the government will do anything about the Niagara region... In my case I don't think it had anything to do with economical aspect as this is the second time this year this company has laid me off on the 89th day of my 90 day union initiation. Plus there is union contract renewal at the end of the month. Its all about numbers! Just sucks to get pulled into the office by the manager and have him say you are an awsome worker and then lie to your face about it being slow times, as i have found out they are asking guys to work overtime on my machine as there is an empty opening. They won't keep me on and pay regular wages but will ask guys and give them time and a half, does that sound right! I don't think there is much loyalty between employers and workers anymore. Sorry just venting alittle, been a really rough week for me trying to find other employment when there is not much here to offer except the great fishing...LOL. So if anyone hears of a couple day labouring jobs let me know...LOL. Just kidding.

times are tough here, with the usual factory worker being laid off here in Niagara.....but I have never kept fish and don't plan on keeping any either.

doesn't hurt to get a note from your parents just in case they ask, once I got told to go home and get a note giving permission to use my girlfriends car. so you never know what they will say. Bring your licence or health card and don't forget your brith certificate. I go over the border a couple times a week, and when i forget my passport they always ask for my birth certificate!

Joefish is right...Dick's I think is awsome, not just for fishing stuff. I go there all the time as I live 4 minutes from the border. The Galleria mall is pretty good too!

i have personally tested the rods that Niagara makes. they are a very great buy and are custom, so you can choose any colours you want on them.

sometimes unions can't help either...If a business is gonna close its gonna close. I am also worried! We are coming up on a new union contract and the company is being brutal.....they may close our plant as well. Well at least thats what we think they are gonna do! Its worth more if they close! i have already been in 2 factoies that have closed and moved to southern USA and Mexico....it is just the way they are going! We should all get GCD to sponsor us all....LOL

i don't get out fishing much with working lots and workin on my house, so sometimes exploring is kinda hard to do...LOL. I tried to explore last year but all the rivers were muddy and alittle high so fishing wasn't so go and last year I didn't get a NY state licence. I live right in Fort Erie so its nothing to just hop over but its hard finding the time. I was asking cause for a partner cause I don't like to fish over on the US tribs alone.

it was a bust....kinda made me wanna throw up thou....100 snaggers fishing. It was a disgace to call them fisherman. I didn't even bring my rod out of the truck once I saw all the vehicles. Will post the pics later! seen 30 fish landed in 10 minutes and all were snagged in the side!

hope you bought the extended warrenty. I had the exact thing happen on my 50 inch hitachi like 3 months ago. Call your warrenty people and have them give you a name of a repair shop they deal with. Our's would have cost over $1200 to fix. Got a brand new 50" LG plasma for a replacement. It is a defect in your LCD screen. Let me know if you need more help. May even be worth your time to drive down to Niagara falls and come fishing down here for the day and take your tv into the same repair shop I sent mine to.

NY licence runs from Oct 1st to Sept 30.....I just renewed mine! I have no idea on spots on the catt.....but with the rain it could be a crap shoot!

I was in New Jersey and New York City and they said it went up like .60 cents a gallon. I guess it went up to $4.80 a gallon but in New York City it was still $3.89. Crazy how 2 places so close can have such huge differences.

i used it for almost a year and then all of a sudden they didn't show one of my bills anymore. So I missed a few payments and it dropped my credit rating abit. So make sure you remember all the bills you have on there.

gotta love the river Tough guy!!! Unless you knwo how to defend yourself you did a smart move by leaving, sorry you didn't get to fish. This is why I try and go to places where only centrepinners go but I am fortunate to live by the Niagara. Not sure how I would have reacted to those asses.

just outside caledonia there is a park on the right side. park there and walk down the trail till you get near the power lines over the water. If you have a float reel use it and float fish worms or shrimp in spawn sac material on the bottom. Lots of catfish and bass there. The better areas you will have to get wet and wade in the water. good luck
