Hi ya Hoppy I would think with the main lake being open all year,the amount of oxygen in the water has to be a total bonus for the fish.Will be interesting to see the kill off from years past. Always seem to see small fish and the odd smallie laying dead on the bottom around the marina and surrounding area.

I would think thats a big difference , then ice banging all the time. Oh well. Just a day that was spent trying. My aim was a bit off trying to hit the few inchs of open water between chunks. I was thinking it was like seeing a shadow to them. Floating by and thing it was something moving by. Someone once told me,if you can see them,they can see you.
