Thanks for sharing.
I was thinking all day about how many huts on cooks bay are no longer there.
Not a good day to be out anywhere on that ice.To many veribles. That wind could cause the ice to wave, thus breaking away at any point.
Truck was swaying pretty good at the stop lights this nmorning. Sounded like a frieght train when I walk out the door this morning as well. Alot of the snow has left us also. Very warm right now.
Boy Paul, you just saved me some typing.
I pretty much concure with you. As for the dock,I would throw a light tube and let it slowly drop. I would have to say it,s deep , with the slide. Then again, one never knows unless you are there or know the spot. A swim bait would work great.
As for the pads, there are so many options.Heavy jig/pig. Drag a crawler with a heavy bullet head,so it can drop in the open spots.
I want to fish that spot. Bet I could use up half a tournys day there.
Back at ya Dan.
Some good old stuff playing on Zoomer.'

I know,yer much younger then I.
Now Greg, you know all to well,it,s crowed this year due to the big lake being open. K-Bay hasent been hit this hard in years. Whens the last time you seen the ORO/BP, side have 2000 guys on one day? If the big lake was tight, this wouldnt of happen this year.
I have to say though, there probly lots of innisfil locals that are glad their not hearing atvs and sleds starting up at 5am. LOL
Right on.
Like I have said before,I was one of those guys that took 30-40 in a day,but they were all consumed. NOT THROWN IN THE GARDEN.
I did mine in the oven with salt/pepper and smoke drips. I would cook them til they were dried right out. The sweetest fish you,ll ever taste that way. Well, next to a nice slab of fresh cod and cheeks. I bye,now I got me mouth watering.
I say open with a limit. Say, 6 per day. Hell,I throw back lakers. Darn oily things.
