I have seen more tomatoes today then I need to. . I went to 4 stores. No shepherds. ? I did see frozen steelhead fillets. One side , thin sliced,25 bucks. LOL

I had a 14 ft tinny go by me this morning with NO LIGHTS at all. I have it on video. I am not going to post it yet, as it is part of my weekend project video.

Water on Simcoe, out to 40 fow was 16 deg. Once out at 110 fow, surface was 19 deg.

Another morning on the toon and yet another pin hole leak on the welded seam. This is getting very upsetting to say the least. So off the water early, head home, fix pin hole leak, grab my fall weapons of choice, clean,spool with fresh line. Soon my babies, very soon,you will be reunited with me and the river,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Theres that Whisker SS I was telling ya about in the reel thread. I didnt even get to see the finish of the sun rise.

Oh don't even get me started on that. He showed up last year wearing sneakers. I guess when one can, he does. I know one thing,I don't fit in it. But ya Albert You can bet his ass, he will be. Well back in anyways. He is a late comer. LOL Looks cool buddy.

I heard it was late into the night. 11:30. Then again,it,s the news. Sad none the less. T boned ? No lights on ? Not paying attention ? Sad none the less.

Some candy anyone ? Went back to the dry cure. Wet works,but I like that jerky texture I get from the dry. When I removed it at 3am this morning after 16 hours of getting happy in that syrup from the fridge, I washed off and air dried till I got home at 10 am. Yup, off fishing I was. In the smoker til 5 pm. I reached a stable mark of 155 deg through out the whole thing. My neighbors now , do not mind the smoke scent, as they all got some to eat, and I am their new smoke fish monger, LOL The bottom 3 pieces lower rack, the loins, are for me. May fav cut of the fish.
