Wrong. Guys that fish Erie from bass boats,have rod holders rigged up. Do some research. I know,as I was on bass boats for 3 days on Erie with pros. Their set ups were very slick.

Think I made about 60 casts to get my first 2 Lew. Then again,they were just 30" fish. Nothing big. On medium size spinner baits.

I found that one does not need to be present for the whole smoking process. Cured some salmon treats Sunday afternoon. Woke up at 2 am Monday . Pulled fish out of cure,rinsed, racked and air dried with a small fan til 4 am ,where I awoke again for my fishing day. Plugged in the smoker at 4:10 am,tossed in the pan full of chips,rack in same time. Return home 10:30 am,add another pan of chips. Finished off at 1 pm. Smoking fish while fishing.

Monday Simcoe deep water was 18.9 C surface. Pulled the anchor rope up from 115 fow. It was cool,not cold. Crazy with the colder then norm June we had.

Weighs 2/3 of what my battery weighs. Plus I have the trolling motor. If I go to a bigger toon,the Honda has to be part of the package. Cliff, any idea at what your top speed was ?

Might get flak for this,but he did not show his money worth for me. He had a few shining moments,but he looked sloppy more then he shined. Maybe trying to hard to impress the coach and the fans.
