I did say I make a cream cheese roll. I was thinking to add bacon bits to my next one due to the hickory, but thinking about it today at work, I thought I would go a different way. First stop after work, bulk barn. Grab some dried cranberries. Home and got busy. While I was chopping, I had to try the fish candy. Man, I am getting my texture I like. Jerky candy. Enough of that now. If I kept eating,there would be no fish for the cheese roll. Slice and dice and chop. Add a bit to the mix, and enough to caot the roll. Roll and wrapped in the fridge to set. My fellow co-workers will enjoy I am sure. I had one fella this morning say I might of made my best smoked jerky fish. He is of aboriginal decent. Hope I said that right. His comment made me proud of my works. I have seen the commercial price of this type of thing. I made for pennies compared.

When I have pizza, I don't get a bite that dosent have a piece of anchovy or olive .

We all know ya got to look impressive on the river. LOL Nice to see ya got one Nick. Now back to fishing. LOL

I looked this up. I am a big pasta guy when the fall and winter months come. Need those carbs when dragging that porty hut all winter ice season. One ingredient caught my eye right away. Anchovies. I love them little salty fishes. Going to be trying this. Without the capers. Still on the fence about them.

I have never given capers a real honest try. Put one in my mouth once, and spit it out. What is it about these little green beads that makes a dish ?

1 1/2 cup Sugar cane, 1/4 cup molasses,and 1/3 cup salt. In the fridge from 1 pm til 4am. Flushed with cold water . Air dried til I got home at 9 am. Smoke with 1/2 and 1/2. Apple and hickory. Yup,it made it dark, and very delish. This is candy. Not yer Turks bar candy either. LOL I have been doing a cream cheese roll as of late, for on crackers and begals. Chives, dill and pepper. This smoke needs a bit of a kick to that. Something to accompany the hickory. The taste buds and brain are going zeppelin. HMMMMM ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Bacon bits? To be fair here Fez, you did ask a loaded question. Tips, some will give, SPOTS, aint going to happen. I have lived up here for over 25 years. I walked and trench through 100,s of miles of bush to find spots. Alone, and with good friends. Will I share these spots? Yes, but with only true loyal friends. Get yer boots on and get marching. Never know, you might find that one spot. Good fishing to you.

Fixed leak on toon, coffee in thermos, and ,AHHHHWAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY I go 1/2 thIs morning. 1st was a hook ,set,and he/she,took me bait. I say it was a pike in 105 fow. That is my story. LOL Anyhoo, I stuck it out til noon today. It was a real nice S/E roller morning.

I found a green 3 at a garage sale probly 83. Guy said a he would take a buck for it. Nothing wrong with it. I flipped it a month later for $270. You wont get that now a days. LOL

I have 2, gen 2 ones. The black 3,s models Dave. And extra spools. It was the one to have in the 80,s. Bought at K-Mart in Brampton $45. I have not used them in 30 plus years. Sitting collecting dust. Had to edit due to years forgot. LOL

I have seen more tomatoes today then I need to. . I went to 4 stores. No shepherds. ? I did see frozen steelhead fillets. One side , thin sliced,25 bucks. LOL
