Ugh, that sucks dude...I managed to put a hook through my pinkie finger before...Went too the hosiital, they put 2 needles in my finger to freeze it...then the doc went out to get his tools(Master Craft Pliers) pushed the hook the rest of the way through...cut the barb and pulled it back out...i just sat there looking the other way. Not Fun!

For bass? If so than you are not going to need a leader if you are worried about them cutting through there line. For visibility you may want to tie on a 2-4ft Mono of Fluorocarbon leader...look up the double Uni Knot, great knot for connecting two lines together. Hope this helped. MTBF

Nice job with the carp. Nothing better than confidence in a bait or technique. Thanks for sharing, MTBF

Great prize and what great curiosity by Mark Kulik and the Extreme Angler Team.

Head out on Silver lake if you can. Use tubes and yum dingers on the shores and you should do well. Try this at Sharbot also, sorry i have yet to fish this lake but i know there right close to each other.

I'm going to try a smaller spinner for them with well smaller hooks. I caught two at a spot I would like to keep secret however there great fish to catch but there's a lot more hits than landed fish. The two I caught were barely hooked and 2 of the 3 hooks were wedged in between there teeth coming out flawlessly. Great fish and something I wish to come across again. Smaller of the two: (Blaming my Dad still for the bad picture) Also good shot of there teeth: Sorry OFC, I know you have seen this picture several times already. I got to help fuel the hunt!

That reminds me of a secret pond up near Kingston that I'll be having my uncle take me to...only canoe accessible and it's clouded out on google maps. Near my grandmothers lake actually where i'll be heading to at the start of august...Many printed photo's of my uncle and his friend with 7lb+ Largemouth's at this place..man If i can get to this hole and manage a bass over 5lbs I'll be happy...Kinda scared as there is nothing for a few km's in either directions of this place...what if we fall in

A big beauty sturgeon giving you a 10min+ fight. Nothing wrong with that bud, what a extraordinary fish to catch! Congratulations, MTBF -
I also have a couple 1/4oz Lindy Jig heads(Glow in the dark) that are brand new along with some different Yum Walleye grubs, bumble bee, pink/white, and a dark green/orange color. And also, will be fishing from both shore and my 14ft rubber dingy, just paddling slowly up and down this large weed bed(.75km long)

So far so good! Keep it up, looking forward to some great upcoming reports. Now, that big walleye was great but that Musky was amazing, Congratulations on a strong release and a great fight! Thanks for sharing, MTBF

Where would be a good place to catch walleye. I'm going up to Lake Seymour(Campbellford) and I caught a small walleye last year on a bass popper at night. Now others in the Camp catch walleye but well I want to plan ahead. There is a long narrow weed patch that I'm going to be hittin during the day for the bass but in the evenings should I try the outtermost edge of the patch for these walleye, or the inner side of the patch.(Inner=Shallow, Outter=deeper approx 12-20ft). I have a cotton cordel crankbait(silver/blue) A slender mid diving crank by Matzuo and a Walleye diver that I'll try out. Not looking to fish every day for them but at least once or twice. Any suggestions? Thanks, MTBF EDIT** I also have a couple 1/4oz Lindy Jig heads(Glow in the dark) that are brand new along with some different Yum Walleye grubs, bumble bee, pink/white, and a dark green/orange color. Ah CPR. Good to hear but I'm guessing that measurements are taken along with photos to prove your catch. Only can skip through that link you showed me.

I would like to see on how they can keep bass alive and healthy with plenty of Oxygen...Or a stringer through the gills can work too Unless it's C&R but well i don't know how its gonna work...

Not to sure about the playoffs but the leafs have a couple picks and I hope they put them to good use. They need another young offense men like that Grabovski dude also another D-Man like Schenn would be sweet. Good luck to them! MTBF

Finally got myself some glasses
MCTFisher9120 replied to MCTFisher9120's topic in General Discussion
I had to pay for the frames and got a 50% discount on the lenses(latest promotion) + i got them polarized and they were $285. The Oakleys were brand lenses or whatever she said so the discount would not be in effect so the price of those will be in upwards of $400+. However, Im very happy with my pair and you should be able to find something that will be good for you, good luck! -
Just got back from Lens Crafters today, well i got some prescription, polarized sunglasses. Wanted to get the Oakley's but the lenses were real expensive and it would of taken 10days to make, so well save those beauties for next year in the mean time I got myself some good glasses that I like. Ah, at last a good day fishing without a headache at the end. I'm sure I'll be catching some fish during my trip and I'll be proud to wear them MTBF

7.2lbs ?? Wow, a lunker indeed. Can't wait to see a photo of the catch, I'm sure it will end up on here soon enough. Where was this tourny held cause I thought Bass was still closed in many areas in Ontario.

I like the thunder/rain effect they did. Really extraordinary to watch. -
And what was the "Lunker" ?
