  1. My favorite lure is a jerkbait because it seems to so versitile and it catches everything. However, it can be pretty tough in the thick weeds. I will throw jerkbaits along the edges and around sparse weeds. I always use braided line to help rip the bait out of the weeds. I also find that a jerkbait like a husky jerk or a rogue performs better in the weeds as opposed to a slashbait like the X-rap because it has less of a side to side action. It can be frustrating at times but the rewards can be great. Thanks for all the kind words guys. Hey Riverfisher22...... they are rain bibs
  2. Looks like fun. Getting children onto fish is ALMOST as fun as getting them yourself. He looks just like you.
  3. Got out last week with family to Nanas and Papas house. A few hours of fishing each morning with my old man and perching off the dock with the kids kept everybody happy. Papa bought a new boat that needed to be tested out on the walleye grounds. The bite was pretty good. I prefer to fish weed walleye and I caught them the way I like to catch em. ( jerk baits, bucktails and grubs in the weeds ) Here are a few pics. Enjoy!

  16. Thanks for the repies guys. I used the boat all through December and started using it in early March. All last year I always recharged the batteries as soon as I got home. All winter ( Jan & Feb. ) I charged them every couple of weeks to make sure that they never sat uncharged. I have had already about a dozen trips out this season with no problems. However I have been having problems with the BPS charger. It never read the same thing when it was charging. sometimes it red charging , sometimes it read float and someimes it read go fish. I dont trust that charger any longer. I was checking the batteries and one read 10.2 V and the other read 12.3V. where in the GTA can I find the CTEC chargers?

  19. Check out the Humber at the end of Kirby rd. West of Hwy 27. There is a dead end. Check out the pools south of there. Or near old Church Rd. & hwy 50. South of Palgrave fish ladder can produce decent fish. You may expect to catch native browns. Good luck
