Cliff, they could have been green, purple or a rainbow but some people just don't get it when someone is being friendly. I had a 1 person inflatable with a 2HP motor on it pull right up beside me, my wife and kids (and yes my 6 year old could have cast and hit the boat) with 3 PEOPLE in it and only 1 with a life jacket! We pulled out of there moments after as we didn't want to deal with my kids casting stray lures.

I've had guys flip and pitch at me and my kids while they are either swimming or fishing on the dock. So I do get out my rod and cast right back stopping the lure a foot or 2 away from the boat. All they are going to catch around my dock is tiny rockbass anyway so this is why I have to agree with the quote. Isn't the point of fishing to have fun, relax and try new things? I haven't even used my old "standby" pattern/method from last year as I'm having fun trying new things this year.

Great, thanks Mark as I agree that as long as it's well kept and "policed" then all should be well. Good on them for making and honest buck!

If that is directed at me, I don't know the situation there. All I am saying is I hope it is Monitored very well as there are many others closer to there then me reading and either posting or angry about it. I have NO say in what's going on there, just wondering and offered some possible insight or added to the confusion? If a man can make a buck in and honest manner then GO FOR IT!

Cut the line off, clean with Alc. prep. pad and push through past the barb. Wear one week then cut off end with the barb and put any earing you want in to "fit in" with the kids. Ahh, the joys of fishing with kids...

This is the best IMHO. Just make sure you use a good floro line! Vanish = BAD!

Mark, I see it as another "station" for those to cut, clean and bag fish to sell. There is no mention on the limit, per person, you can fish per day (hence the problem). There will be folks out there with the $2.00 a fish still as they "caught" a bunch and could be over the "limit" so they want to keep out of trouble so $2.00 a fish it is. Others can sit there and say, I have my limit so let's go get them cleaned up and sell it for more $. It's all in how people perceive things and what happens in the real world. Only time will tell but Randy is close to the area so he must have a better "picture" of what is really happening every day. All I can say is I hope these stations are closely monitored...

Terry, the one I opened up here had C size in it BUT each one was 1.5x the normal length. I could see if you needed 3 C's for a flashlight you could prob. use 2 of these.

Apple and or Apple/Cheery mix goes well with pork and turkey.

OFC to me is like another home, you have "family" come into the conversations and go away for a bit but come back. Some tell you you are right, others tell you you are wrong but in the end we are all here for the same reason, fishing and new friends. I have met a few OFC'ers over the time I have been here (not that long either) and fished with a few too! Every conversation is the same, we all talk like we have been frineds for years and about our love of fishing. I have sold and purchased item off this site and I will keep on doing so as there is a trust between us all as we all do have a common goal of fishing and friendship. So with that I say this, it's been nice to meet you all. Well, maybe not Terry, he can stay where he is...

when holding your son, talk to the dog like you would if you want to play with her and your son wasn't there. treat your dog like she is all you are watching and you son is "just there" and the dog should feel lees threatened by your son. Hell, that works WELL with your 1st child when the 2nd comes along so it should work with a dang pet!?!?!?!
