If you stomp on a gobey and hold it up in the air by the tail most birds will come by and get it and thank you for it by NOT pooping on you or your boat. As for the bass, nice fish! Is it a new PB of 88LB's? (just messing from another post)...
Mike, you are doing a hell of a job fishing for fish you don't know about. Enjoy and remember these times out fishing with your dad, I'm sure he won't forget...
I don't know where my mind is as but after reading Pete's post about musky and then I read this as "puppy as food" and was thinking
Sorry, my mind's on big fish with teeth and Frank's red hot on bio-baits....
first start by finding all the point where the water is coming in then tell us where they are. I would mark every spot in the boat that is letting water in too.
Hey all.
When the winter comes close or is upon us there is always a post or two on how to fill your 1LB propane tank. Well, I was at Lowe's in Whitby today and found they had the Mr. Heater one's for sale for $16.95 each! I paid a lot more then that after shipping and taxes (almost double) when I got one last year. So for those that want to fill a smaller tank from a 20LB tank then check your nearest Lowe's in the BBQ/Smoker section. Cheers.
Geoff
You would be better off with a few milk jug's full of rocks then a carton as there is no top to keep the rocks in. if the water is 20' deep then you also want more then double for your line length.
Just to give you an idea, I have a 10 or 15LB (I think 15LB) in my 18.5" fiberglass bowrider in the grappling style and the 1 keeps me and my family set even in some strong wind and waves. I think you would be set with a 5LB or 2 1.5LB's.
