  1. have a look HERE , or HERE or copy this link and download the pdf from www.gov.ns.ca/fish/sportfishing/invasive.pdf it should cover everything you are wondering
  2. haha sorry guys, it should look like this site: kijiji.ca "shimano" <<< 18,200 results site:(space)kijiji.ca(space)(quote)shimano(quote)
  3. Sorry for posting here guys, but I didnt want to put it somewhere else as most people wouldn't see it. Every try searching for something on Kijiji and you have to keep switching locations? Can't find it in the city you are looking and want to look elsewhere. Well thanks to Google, you can search ALL areas of Kijiji.ca or .com by typing this into Googles search bar. site:website.com/.ca "search term" ie. if you want to search for Shimano for ALL locations on Kijiji without switching cities, type: site:kijiji.ca "shimano" click search and there you go. (you must type the word "SITE:" You can use it on other sites too such as ebay and wherever else has location based services. This is not anything new but I have never seen anyone post it. There are a ton of ways for searching google a lot more efficiently, this is just one really basic one I use all the time. So hopefully it helps you guys out.
  4. Johnny, that actually sounds like a good idea. The planning and prep work would be tremendous for those willing to undertake it, but I think the turn out would be good. I am not a huge Bass guy anymore either, but it would be fun to participate in something like that.
  5. I wish I could help you out, all I know is that park is a treat for the eyes.
  6. Welcome aboard. Its nice to see another Musky guy as part of the community. I didnt realize who you were Richard, its great to see people like you on board. You will be a welcome addition.
  7. Definitely the line of the day hahaha
  8. I have to agree with Marc here. He actually talked to Brian for me when I was having trouble, and like I said, they did a complete 180. I misunderstood their position and they misunderstood mine. I havnt had problems with JB's other then Steve wouldnt throw in the JB hat with the lights on it, even though I spend over a $1000 that trip. hahaha oh well. They are top notch. and thanks again Marc.
  9. Have tried this, with no luck, but will continue to work my butt off until I see results. If thats the case Bill, we will go out as a pair, and I will come back solo hhahahaha joking, as long as one of us gets it, it doesnt matter to me. its about catching them, not about my personal catches, although that would be nice. I dont remember the last time I made a cast without a figure 8 Dax, I told you I would sign up a while ago, and I have not yet. I am going to, I assure you that. You will see me soon enough at one of the meetings, maybe October.
  10. Thanks for all of the advice guys. Seems like i have been doing most of the stuff I should, just not catching the breaks. I am going to keep on plugging, putting in the hours and hopefully my luck will change. FOr the time being I will post the scenery pictures and the largemouth that for some reason keep hitting lures the size of them if not bigger. I had a 3 lb hit a Super Cowgirl on saturday and it hit it Hard.
  11. You dealt with Steve. Unfortunately. He isnt the guy to talk to when it comes to JB's. They are a great store but you should talk to Brian and tell him (the owner). I too had a bad first experience with JB's but now they have done a complete 180 with me. Stacey is a first class guy and helped me get my Frabill and shipped it to Stoney Creek DIRT CHEAP. I have nothing bad to say about Pro Tackle. Its too bad that your first experience with JB's was a bad one.
  12. St. Croix's warranty program has changed this year. You will be hard pressed to find an over the counter exchange anymore. Check out their site and you will see the levels of warranty service offered. I am in the same boat, but I broke my Avid. I have to ship it back to St. Croix via Fedex Trade Partners out of Mississauga. I havnt got a quote to ship yet, so if this is the route you are taking report back with the price.
  13. Not sure what it could be, is the line too loose on the spool and coming off and over looping? I have been using braid for a long time now and I have never had one not in it.
  14. Can anyone share some insight on the Charts for the Moon? How detailed is it? I see on the website there are 2 different charts you can get from the Gov. but I dont want to buy one and have the other be more detailed. I am planning on heading up there soon, and am going to buy the charts. Thanks
  15. Hey guys, I need some help. I have been fishing for Musky for a few years now. I have read countless books, Magazines, forums, websites, and videos and spent a considerable amount of hours on the water trying and learning. I have the Kawartha's Musky figured out well enough to go out and boat a few when I go for a day or a week. Georgian Bay, well not so much. The fish behave completely different from inland lakes and I am struggling. I have tried shallow, deep, weeds, rocks, combinations, open water casting and trolling, different speeds, lures, sizes, times of day, moon phases, day times highs and lows and just keep getting stumped on the big water. I fish Severn Sound often, Midland, Penetang, Port Severn, Honey Harbor and will take the boat north on the water as far as I need to. So I am throwing out a call for help. Just some insight on Georgian Bay that I seem to be missing. If anyone would PM me to discuss and talk about technique I would be greatful. I have no problem discussing what, when and where I have been fishing. Like I said, Kawartha's, not a problem, Georgian Bay, fun disappointment. Either way, I am going to keep putting the hours on the water and I am going to keep working, as I know my time will come on the Bay. Thanks for any help.
  16. Great Job. This board still amazes me. How people connect on this board and offer help, its great to see. Nice fish. Now if anyone wants to help me out with some GBay Musky, PM me as I am constantly hitting 0 on Georgian Bay with the Musky. Anyways, Great job and I am glad Mark helped you out and you got results.
  17. Hey Dax, I had the same problem. I use a 7 round to 4 flat connector. Turns out it was 2 of my pins (the bent pins) on the actual truck mount that were not connecting. I took some sand paper and a screw driver, basically increased the gap as it was like they were pinched in a little too much. I replaced the fuses under the hood and bang, works like a charm now. I was told over and over again it was the ground, and in your case it might be, but thats how it was for me (not knocking everyone that said it was a ground at all, just saying, that mine wasnt). Hope you find your problem and its something simple.
  18. Some of his portraits are amazing. My brother in-laws family is in Kincardine, I may add some more ink next time now that I know this guy is there.
  19. The Map Project is a great Resource but hasnt been updated in a while. The guys on that board are a great bunch. There are many converts that are starting to come to this board from that one. I think Almontefisher is the latest. Either way that is a great tool, but if you are thinking they are going to mark the best spots, you are wrong. thats what PM's are for.
  20. By far the best response Raf. Well said. PS. Anyone who fishes Musky in Severn Sound area PM ME. I have ZERO luck there. I cant even get a follow. I think the water is to clear, or warm or there are too many rocks or weeds. Its not me, thats for sure hahaha.....no seriously PM me please
  21. You are right about that Bill. I am working on getting some time to head up north. I will PM you when I can get away from this job. haha. But I am in for sure. Its just taking me forever to get some free time.
