  1. Or just catching bottom while trolling 5mph and the drags set to a two hand pull. Them Scottys will bend backwards before breaking. lol.
  2. Found this book very easy to follow and it covers alot of common and good patterns of dries, wet, nymphs, streamers and salmon patterns. By the time you finish tying everything in it, you'll have little issues tying much of anything.
  3. Well, that'd be an option with the plastic Lund brackets then too Terry. Use two or three to mount one track on and then slide and lock all three down. But again, even loading a few rods in holders off of that, I'd still be leary in the end. I just drilled for Scottys as the mounts are small and stay under the cover. You'll like this one of Andy flippin me off. lol. And, you can see what the brackets are actually getting used for. lol.
  4. Just drill the holes Terry. Make that tub yer own. Sport Trak ain't all that bad for the light stuff. Their weakness is found if and when someone grabs, reefs or leans on one at a certain angle. Snap!
  5. My teeth. Chomp!
  6. Look more like that everyday... Ho hum. Phat Barbats for sure.
  7. Great pictures and memories Simon. Cute little lad too. Proud papa day.
  8. Great fish, fishin' & pics. Thanks for reporting.
  9. It's a great accomplishment Pete and you should be proud.
  10. Great pics guys. Would gladly take any one of those fish. Although not so excited about opener, I'm looking forward to more muskie fishing later this year. Picked up a few new lures to try out and want to work on fishing some new areas.
  11. Hey doods! Any ify weather day you can catch what was intended and make a good time of things, well it's a bonus. Good shooting Cliff and Will.
  12. Poor guy. Six plus specks and some steel. That does make a cool pic Dan. Too bad it didn't go quite as planned but I bet you enjoyed the w/e nonetheless.
  13. Sadly I was primed to head north for pike this month but had to bow out when the weeks kept getting pushed back due to "ice" still on the lakes up north and the work schedule built up. But this little diddy gets me primed for a couple other pike tours ahead. Good fishing Steve. Some beat up spawned out chunkers and some clean mean machines too. Love the pikes.
  14. You should report more often. I know this post is a million years old, but it's good stuff. Cool info Harrison. Best inland walleye in these parts for me since moving back home here 4 years ago, 6.2 lbs out of a small lake. Caught on a bass jig... a Coffee Tube. Bass "stuff" certainly does work. And the funny thing about the smallies on that lake, they love the walleye grubs but you'll never get an eye bite those. lol.
  15. Pete... I'm going to suggest you try an 88 cent can of corn for your muskie fishing, because with luck and numbers like that, surely to God it'll work out for ya. Awesome dood! The best carp numbers with goodies report I've read in some time.
  16. Took awhile to catch this one. She broke a rod one time then stole another one down a hole. Finally, one autumn day in 2008 there she is in the shallows off the point entering the back bay. Cast out, big wake as she rushes the lure and BOOOOOM!!! She smokes it. Finally the Cheepas Monster is in the boat... well, almost in the boat. Big fish. Best to date. What a GATOR!
  17. Blown away. Works of art really. Must be tough selling or giving away babies like those. If I guess their names do I get the first born? Going with... Razorback over Rumplestiltskin. Did I win??? lol. Nicely done...
  18. Hope it's like glass out there and when you look into that speckie aquarium you see everyone of them swim by the boat and smash your lure.
  19. Few more solid ice pike. PikeSlayerinator2006. The Original. Worked awesome.
  20. Quite an enjoyable morning read. Some solid laker fishing. Think that's the first time I've seen the Williams Trophy spoon in a report. Have one, will try it sometime. Thanks for the report.
  21. Biggest Two Ice Pike. Biggest Nipigon Pike. Biggest Kesagami Pike. Biggest Attawapiskat Pike. Biggest Pike From Home on the Moose River.
  22. Five great pics that told a perfect story. And on top of that, you actually told a story. Thanks.
  23. Now ya gots it Lew. Word to your mother!
  24. 4 P's now. "Proud." Good catching.
