I like them "rambling" reports and lots of pics. Love the pics of the moose. I've only ever seen one and that was crossing the road in front up us. Great report and thanks for taking the time to put it up. Should be a hit with all.

Now that's a Christmas present I just found out this week that our 7th grand-child is coming around the end of July. I ain't old enought for all that. Congrats to you outdoorsman.

Merry Christmas to all my OFC brothers and sisters ... north and south of the border. My wish for a new PB for everyone in 2008 (I'll take one too).

I can see Pam turning that into a great painting.

Way too funny. Anyone want 23 bottles of Arrow Head beer ?

That is a great shot fireball. Like most photographers I know ... they'll take a hundred shots or so, to get that one single 'great' shot.

25cm Snow Storm is coming to Southern Ontario!
Rich Clemens replied to a topic in General Discussion
They've already put up winter storm warnings for us here in south-central PA. Not sure how much of the white stuff we are to get ... depends on which weather station you listen to. Snow and sleet. Looks like a mixed bag for us. Up-state New York and New Englad, I believe, are looking for about 1 foot of snow. Looks like a pretty big storm and covering a wide area. -

Bly and CCMTs Year in Review - Part 2: Summer/Fall 2007
Rich Clemens replied to ccmtcanada's topic in General Discussion
Great report folks and it looks like you were getting into quite a variety of fish. Glad to see you were able to pick up a boat this year and expand your fishing territory. Thanks a lot for sharing a great season. -
I hear-ya Landlocked. My girl (in my avatar is about 7 1/2 now and has been through quite a bit in her life. Started out when she was just about a year old and the day before we were leaving for Canada. My step son was washing his truck and accidentally backed over her leg. Trip to the vet just hours before we were to leave - broken leg. So, fix it up with a cast and have to wait over-night - then get the vet to clear her to go home. This broken leg was a blessing in disguise - as this caused us to take her with us. She's been making every fishing trip to Canada ever since. What a great fishing parter. She's fallen overboard a few times and have to fish her out of the water. Once it was very rough and I had to go in after her. Aridale's aren't the best swimmers. Grossly swollen lymph gland that had to be surgically removed as well as a couple deeply embedded cysts that also had to be cut out at different times. She's been limping pretty bad the past few days. Trip to the Vet last night and she now has a torn ACL. So she is on injured reserve. Have her on some pain meds for 10 days to see if it heals on its own. Keeping that dog calm is like keeping a 2 year old kid calm. Friday the 21st, in to the VET for X-rays. I'm really hoping this was not triggered by problems with her hips starting .. so we'll pray for the best. Most likely looking at yet another surgery for the girl. She's only 7, but has been through quite a bit and I'm praying she also will be around for a lot more years yet. She is already thinking about Lakair in June ... just like I am. Yup - God willing, she'll be coming along and fishing with the rest of us. I could not have asked for a better companion (the four-legged kind that is).

Geeze Float - that does make for one heck of a bad day. Truely very sorry to hear about the loss in your family, but two in the same day. My condolences to you and your family.

Looking forward to seeing you again in June Lew. I'll be bringing the better half along next year, so we'll have to rough it in Cabin 5. Very tough year for ya with the loss of your brother and I did think about him when we made our annual trip to the Rideau this past July ... we pass very close to Delta and I've stopped there a few times. I'm sure I really missed something in not having the opportunity to stop in and say hello. My musky fishing this year was a complete skunk. Three trips, three weeks, only 4 raised. From what I hear, when we were on the French in late September, it was a tough go all around. See ya soon bud. Looking forward to a few more fire-side chats. All my best. Rich

Get 'er done. We finished most of our Christmas shopping in October/November. Everything is wrapped and just sitting there waiting for the kids and grand kids to tear into it. No need to head into the city and face the insanity of the Christmas mob.

That's a great photo and certainly is Christmas Card material Deano. The colors & lighting - love it.

Ain't it something how one is 'sick as a Dawg' and after you get done with the doc, ya feel like 10 Dawgs. Hope they got you on the path to recovery my friend.

That sounds much worse than pulling the 'real plug'. Got an attorney ?

Welcome aboard HH. Lots of Walleye lovers here and I'll guess you'll get a PM or two. The group just finished up their BOQ get-together not too long ago. hopefully you'll drop by next year - lots of good times I hear. Funny how the kids know more about computers than the parents. I don't think you're alone there.
